    Kick Dead Bodies!

I tend to agree, I served overseas in Iraq and had to carry people several times and it is no joke trying to carry someone while you're fully loaded under a high adrenaline rush. During it doesn't seem as bad but once done you are wrecked. Not to mention that if they are wearing gear as well. If you can drag someone it would be with arms around the neck pulling them or via fireman carry. looks bad I know..... This is hard enough to do without a ton of gear but is the fastest and most effective in short distances besides picking someone up, now if they have things like a sucking chest wound where air is entering the chest cavity collapsing the lungs during every breath then you would not pick them up. I could see being able to drag someone by the collar/shirt/vest but not for long, especially given the terrain.

    Keeping Empty Items Glitch

This would be great if when you set it to catch rain that you could set it on the ground upright and it catch rain as well as do this with the water bottles. I find it annoying that when I put the item on the ground I cant stand it up to do the work for me without sitting in the rain getting wet. Or if you can, I havent found out how just yet. Maybe it should change into orange peals? I think this would be super awesome if the same would happen with bananas and then we could make traps on stairs. O'Doyle Rules!

    Keeping Empty Items Glitch

Thanks for the heads up, the topics are related as your problem is the basis of mine as the items are not invisible unless they are empty. Hopefully this can be fixed as I used to have just your problem where you could grab them and throw them out or drop your gear to clear them out but now, it's gone beyond that into a malicious cycle every time a consumable is used. Just beware of the invisible banana, when you need that last slot at the wrong moment it will creep up on you and you wont be able to get rid of it.

    Crash to destkop, game minimizes

Your memory in game might not be set properly for your card?? Make sure that on your in game settings are adjusted to auto this has provided the best performance for me. I am glad that there was an increase in performance but sad that this did not fix the issue, make sure to check the affinity of the Dayz as well and if possible disable all programs that run in the background that are not required. I have a gut feeling that the program is running into a check-sum error and conflicting with internal process causing the crash. I have had one instance after I reconfigured everything where it minimized and then I could pull it back up. I also don't believe its a memory issue, It could just be that Dayz tries to load everything simultaneously.

    Crash to destkop, game minimizes

Read full post before trying these steps: You must have windows, you must have administrator access to your computer; If you don't know if you have administrator access and don't know how to get it, you're in over your skill level, therefore I recommend you DO NOT CONTINUE. These are the Steps: Ctrl+Alt+Del to open a root menu to basic functions, such as log off etc. Then select Task Manager, Once Task Manager is open, open the processes tab while Dayz is running, you must do this while on the home screen that shows your name and character and the menu options for play, character, change server etc. Back on the processes tab select at the lower left portion of the task manager window, "Show processes from all users," Now select the Dayz process by right clicking your mouse on the name, it will give you a drop down menu where you clicked, that should have an option for "set priority" click this and choose the following option that best fits your need, it should be set to normal automatically. After you change the priority beware that your computer may behave improperly therefore I am not reliable for anyone taking these steps to change priority of the processes for their software or hardware. EDIT: sorry for the late reply, real life before game life

    Crash to destkop, game minimizes

I was having this issue until I changed the priority of the Dayz to real-time. I don't know if this will work for anyone else but it's worth a shot. Furthermore I have found that if I turn my brightness and gamma down it would happen less often. Hope this helps someone.

Invisible cans, food, drinks etc. after use

Whenever you find an item on the ground you can't pick up, if you look at it and you have sufficient room in your inventory while pressing f, it will appear in your inventory. I have found it's easiest to do this in first person. Now this wont work if you are trying to pick up a second gun that wont fit into your pack like a mosin or m4. Still seems to be happening on my end at least. I had this happen to me last night several times in a row, here's the proof after I re-logged. Note that the entire upper half of the jacket was unusable until i re-logged and the items became visible again.

Invisible cans, food, drinks etc. after use

You my friend are a brave soul, I forgot to mention that doing what you've describe has increased the chance for my clothing to disappear when I drop it on the ground with a invisible item inside. I have also had the clothing item be permanently stuck on the ground and become non-interactive after the drop. However it has worked a few times but like I've said before, I suffer from this problem constantly.
  10. Holy crap, You're a brave soul to venture up those ladders of death. I've now sworn off those buildings until the ladder animation can successfully put me on stable ground once I've reached the top. Instead I feel like I need some hovers boots and a hook shot to ensure survival, I think I have died on those ladders at least six or seven times. Would have thought to leave them alone after the second death but nope, I'm dumb.
  11. I don't know about you but I could see identifying your position openly on a forum and the exact server you're on as an invite for someone with malicious intent to sneak up on you without your knowledge, This is why the original post does not request your server openly. I would suggest that you wait to be contacted in order to covertly arrange assistance. You might want to change servers and wait for help. Also, telling your possible savior how the operation is going to go down seems a little off putting (IMHO).
  12. Yes, I was...healed...However now we both know to stay away from castles regardless how appealing they may seem lol. Furthermore, I do recommend that everyone looking for help should become aware of land-markers, and mainly to become acquainted with the map. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of any third party map or anything like that but if you have the ability to use a map that you can share with others that supports the ability to place markers on your locations, this would be a good way of identifying your location. You could try using the DayzWiki map, it supports this feature. However I am not responsible for faulty communication or misrepresentation of your location while using such devices. I would also recommend that wherever you may be that you find a suitable place to hide and then log out, In my case I logged back in to a swarm of zombies surrounding my area with no alternative than to give away my position with gunfire. I would also recommend that your support should be in place before you log back in for help. This would prevent you getting killed or glitching out before you can receive help. As a caveat to placing items in your pants, anything in them upon broken legs is ruined, even a protector case which seems insane, so nothing useful should be put into your pants if your subject to frequent falls. Once again, thanks for the help Phoenix, it couldn't have gone better or worse lol.
  13. A: DrunkCrusader B: Broken legs C: Middle of Devils Castle D: Orange taloon backpack, green/grey hoodie, green motorcycle helmet, ruined TTsKo pants, stunner shades, hiking boots, black gloves, splitting axe, mosin and m4a1. Willing to donate either mosin or m4 and a med-kit with a blood-test kit inside for treatment. EDIT: no longer in need of treatment, however I am in need to pay forward the kind deed done for me. If anyone is in need, feel free to ring.

    Serverhopping mother-effers

Not all the time, its been a recent issue among bandits complaining that this breaks immersion and game-play if the person can disconnect from the server by shutting down the game before the server has time to catch up. This also can allow the person to rejoin a server and still have all their equipment. This has happened to me a few times after confrontations with people, as I walk up to their corpse they melt into the floor as if someone hid the body right in front of my eyes.

Sure can, if they alt-f4 fast enough the body will disappear and you wont be able to loot them. I'm sure this falls under conservation of energy.
