Looks like you got really lucky. As for the AUG, it's been in game for a few patches (correct me if I'm wrong) and I've even had one myself.

Sickness from drinking pond water or food poisoning isn't contagious. Have you tried sprinting for a little bit to see if it helps with the shaking?

Pre-releasing the renderer before it's even ready is a bad idea. Not only would it cost them unnecessary resources but it would cause a lot of nerd rage because quite a few people expect the game to be perfect from the beginning and if there are blockers, bugs, etc. that make it less than perfect then those same people would bash the developers even more than what they already are. We really don't need any more topics full of nerd rage as we have plenty as is.

At least we have things like the pictures below to look forward to.

You're probably suffering from ghosting which is why it looks that way. As Nl and Kohlbar suggested, check to see if there's a game setting on your tv that will lower the response time to help get rid of ghosting whenever you play games. As for best monitor, that's a very subjective opinion as it will differ from person to person so there's really no best monitor out there. If you do end up getting a new monitor though as Tatanko said get a monitor with an IPS panel as they are far superior to TN panels.

I prefer 1p myself so feel free to add me to the list.

That game was surprisingly fun to play even though a lot of the progress was behind a paywall.

Before we lose DX9. Playing DayZ on a Chromebook.

I could be completely wrong and you could see some pretty huge gains which I hope you do as everyone deserves a chance to play this at a decent performance level. -
Why you shouldnt be excited about 0.60 coming soon
LordBlackwolf replied to hemmo's topic in General Discussion
I agree with you. I'm sure once .60 hits experimental they won't try to rush it to stable since they'll need plenty of time to iron out the kinks before considering pushing it to stable. -
You also have to realize this takes place during an apocalypse so you're not going to be seeing hundreds of people gathered in one location at any point in time.
-
You do realize that bugs and poor performance is to be expected at this stage of development. They won't start working on maximizing performance until Beta since they're still adding new features that will cause more bugs and performance issues.

You may or may not get any gains in fps but if you do it won't be anything significant. -
I agree that setting people on fire shouldn't be in this game and even though this is a different topic what about setting corpses on fire?
-
Looking at it from a reality standpoint, when the world goes to hell there are people who are going to get really depraved when it comes to their idea of surviving and also because there won't be any consequences holding them back including setting people on fire. Also, the things people will become willing to do just to "survive" might be beyond comprehension since we're not at a point in time where they will show their true nature.

He or She probably gets too attached to their gear so when their character does get wiped they sit in a corner and throw a temper tantrum because they lost their precious guns and fat loot.
-
I have a suppressor east even though it's damaged but you can have it if you want it. All I need atm is a clip for my glock but if you don't have one you can have it for free.

You can change the UI scale by going into the video options though.

Santa fox derails Exp Topic (fixed).
LordBlackwolf replied to Santa fox's topic in General Discussion
The thing about releasing it in it's alpha form as opposed to a beta form is that not only can players give feedback on the direction the game is heading as well as providing suggestions for things they'd like to see in game but also to be able to catch bugs that might otherwise be missed until beta. -
They should add 64 bit executables so we don't have to worry about 32 bit memory limits.

If you have a 75 rounds drum for AKM...
LordBlackwolf replied to lordkalvaire's topic in General Discussion
I had one but someone killed me in nw airfield and I lost my akm with 75 and 30 round mags. -
If I'm not mistaken you've actually found Devil's Castle and it's northeast of the northwest airfield.

Servers with connection issues to central hive
LordBlackwolf replied to rocket's topic in News & Announcements
I didn't have any problems with my settings but after the servers went down while playing when I logged back in my character was a fresh spawn. No clue if characters were wiped or not but any info would be appreciated! -
Did we lose characters from 2 days ago before the rubber band patch?
-
How do you deal with rubberbanding? (Exp)
LordBlackwolf replied to rickyriot's topic in General Discussion
I've been rubberbanded into that same room. I wish they would make the doors destroyable so that we can get out of rooms that doesn't have doors that can be opened. I'm stuck and will probably stop playing on hardcore since my character is energized and hydrated and I don't want to wait hours/days since it's hard to move enough in the room to thirst/starve to death. -
Most people play the game as if it was a CoD game anyway. There's hardly ever any interactions with other players (KOSing doesn't count) since most players kill on sight rather than trying to help each other even though they know everything will respawn eventually.
