I will not condone any form of argument on this thread. If the admins wish to look into any future discussion on this thread then i highly suggest they do because i am sure the community does not want this thread to be terminated over a petty argument. This is a particular reason as to why me and my brother have basically froze our progress on this thread. For it is not the fault of the community, no, it is the fault of the devs themselves. For when people complained about Chaingunfighter's suggestion of the implementation of a Golden AKM, no one seems to care about the "Golden Eagle" being implemented. I, for one, have expressed my frustration with the developer's taste in firearm implementation in the past and have taken heat from the community for doing so, but now i need to express it once more. I am not trying to make you all suffer from the lack of this thread being updated due to their mistakes, but me and my brother have other priorities in life currently that take up most of our time. Expect an update this weekend I am planning on implementing the new handgun poll as well as a few new Weapons All polls will run for an entire month now so we can collect as much data as possible.

I could most certainly update the first post when i have time. I am planning on doing a re-vote for all weapon sections as well. Just hang in there...

To all community members... Sorry for my long long long absence.. Several problems and difficulties had came up after the last update in November and i was unable to take time to update this thread. My interest in Dayz Standalone, i will admit, has diminished greatly due to new video games that have been released have caught my interest in modding. The main one that me and my brother are currently modding is the popular survival game called Project Zomboid. Again, i deeply apologize to all of you and i hope i can release some updates to this thread every now and then in the future. The new way i request updates to be handled is that you, the community members, write descriptions for your firearms when you suggest them. (I prefer you private message me, but a post is fine too, even though it has a high chance of getting buried...). Some people have already sent descriptions to me and i have had no time to review them yet.. Thank you all in the Dayz Community for sticking with me and this thread as it started roughly a year ago.. from there it exploded into a thread full of discussion, ideas, debates, polls, hell you name it. Thank you all for hanging on and continuing to update the thread even though i was absent. Now, i cannot guarantee an update every week or so, but an update will come out every now and then, so just hang in there. Thank you and God Bless!

How about people just stop bitching and live with it? This is a survival game. I am not going to walk up every person I see, shake their hand, and skip off into one of the many forests of chernarus together. I am a hero, however I tend to engage people a lot more often due to recent attempts at false help, tricks, and now the implementation of cannibalism. In conclusion, kill on sight should always be permitted. Who gives a damn if you spent hours upon hours gathering all that loot? You get to learn to not make the same mistake again once you actually die. I kill on sight sometimes and I don't give a single flying fuck about what anyone has to say because it is my own personal decision to do so. This game has a heavy influence on decision making. Let the players play they want to play.
