@emuthreat Nah, it's certainly on its way to being the bees knees, but it's way off yet pal. The single most immersive experience I've had with Dayz was years back on the mod when I teamed up with a foreign lady (yes a girl gamer) who spoke very little English. After 40 minutes of tense scouting around and then in chenarus we rounded a corner and bumped into a rouge zombie , I dispatched it with my makarov, the only gun between us only to be suddenly set upon by a rampaging horde. I ran off away from her and started shooting my one mag wildly, getting all the attention on me while screaming RUN down my mic. Seeing her flee off into the distance whilst I was getting rage eaten by zeds knowing I'd saved a life was sooo gratifying. When I'm immersed in such a way again I'll be the first to agree with you pal ;)

Out of curiosity, why is it so important that everyone feels it's there right to have access to experimental servers without question when clearly, Bi is doing, and continuing to do there jobs and allowing access to an albeit sub-par in comparison stable branch? Do you guys like only have one game installed on your pc's?? Personally I'm having much fun at present trying to make a dynamic zombies and demons mission on arma 3 to pass the time on until I get another look at Dayz. Hopefully smithing like the Eden editor will ship with Dayz official release but hey, I'm happy to wait and see.

O bloody hell what I forgot to say is delete all start up parameters and try without them, I don't use them anymore :) as I now see a gain without them

I'm reading a lot about poor amd performance, I run a amd ii x4 630 at 2.7g r9 380 and 8 gigs of the cheapest ram ever found lol and don't seem to drop below 34ish in towns up to 118 at the coast object depending. i play on a TV @1368x7somthing and game now looks chipper to me.

Do you run start up parameters? i found in arma 3 it ran worse with them and once deleted was better, so did same with Dayz. i have had varied results from 28 to 118 fps but usually flit between 30-70fps which is fine for anything in game for me. pc: amd ii x4 630 (don't laugh ;) ) windforce r9 380 8 gigs budget ram windows 10

Ow do, personally I find 10 mins ish with a low ping server doing the enter Slam trick suffice. Awesome play tonight, have a rifle and scope with no ammo 3 loaded pistolas am energised and hydrated, found tisy slopes and had to ice 2 zombies one of which jumped a fence to eat my face, plus she seemed to be wearing the shitty clothes that no one picks up :) plus love that when you nail someone's ass to the floor ( she hit me first boys) when you check pulse it tells you who they were. Also 38 to 120 fps on a crap CPU with a r9 380..... EPIC!!!!

@ktaanthrax Why so mad, test servers be limited, do you plat to kill or play to submit bugs? Either way why not just play A3 till servers free up/ hit stable, it's only a game mush, surely you have more. Than 1 in your library, O and on a side note will .6 stable support 60 players??

Maybe there still tweaking it to get some Z's back in, that would certainly be worth the wait. :rolleyes:
