I was about to ask if they hotfixed the weapon attachments, but it sounds like the fps issue is game-breakingly bad.

Is there a final word on character reset on stable launch?

As the title suggests, I'm at a loss here. I've found (at least) 4 SMERSH vests, 3 ACOGs, 4 RDS, 3 FNX, 2 FNX-RDS sights, dozens of mags and attachments, and an AUG - but not a single M4 (Not to mention about 50 raincoats). Anyone else feeling like the loot tables were rebalanced or perhaps they're not spawning at all? I'm ok with being wrong about this, but I feel like my hit-rate on 0.52 for M4's was about 1 in 6 smoker crashes... Now its like 0 for 20

Ok, i thought I'd compile a small list of things I don't believe are spawning- Anyone care to confirm or debunk? Sunglasses Ammo Cans SIlencers PS01 Scope 7.62x51 Snap Loaders 7.62x51 Stripper Clip P1 Mag Amphibia Mag CQB Stock Also, I've notice a resurgence of a bug that causes loot to disappear when swapped with an item in your inventory. Happened to me both in a house and outside on the ground. Once with a med kit and once with a gun. Anyone seen this? I'd bug report, but its already in there 1000+ times.

Haven't seen an M4 since the patch either - same story, been to a lot of heli's

Anyone else feel like the M4 got adjusted in the loot tables? I've found everything from CMAGs to ACOGs, but not a single M4, many right after a fresh restart. Could be coincidence, but with the promise of making guns hard to find down the road, one can always wonder...

I can second that. I would defer to a Vybor aficionado to verify its also not spawning in barracks.

Has anyone noticed that the ratio of Mi-8 crashes to "smoker" crashes is way skewed? I feel like before it was usually 2 smokers to an Mi-8, sometimes 3, but now i'm seeing almost exclusively Mi-8s.

Wait what?? Can anyone confirm this? I saw in a different post a screenshot with smoke, but I'm willing to believe it isn't working with not seeing a crash since the patch.

Been watching this myself, pretty sure they tweeted "3 hour maintenance at 08:00 (GMT+1)" which would have been 02:00 here in the eastern US. So 6 hours for "maintenance" seems a bit excessive. Everything and everybody has been getting hacked these days, so who knows.

Hopefully you also verified that you didn't accidentally enter a Private hive. I've done this before and panicked, only to realize that it was a Private hive I absentmindedly entered. One thing I'll always do if it seems like my Public character has been reset is to go back to the last server where everything was correct (my gear, location, etc.). Since 0.51 it works 10 out of 10 times. Something that I noticed in previous builds is that my character would only appear reset on a particular server provider- for example, if I was playing in Villayer servers and switched to a Fragnet server to find my character reset, going back to any Villayer server would load my correct character.

here's something else I've been wondering.. if helicopter crashes spawn in persistent public-hive servers, is the location of the three choppers identical from one server to the next, or is it unique to every single server?

Are you talking about the barn that sits to the NW of downtown Zelenegorsk or the one to the south on the hill near the green mountain tower?

I was going to make a whole post about how I'm too old to believe in helicopter crashes and tie it into Santa.. but here we are. Ran the gauntlet from Lupatino to south of Zelenogorsk and back TWICE in different servers, and haven't seen a single one. I'd really love a definitive answer from someone who has seen a crash site (like today) in a persistence-enabled server. I really hope we're not back to this invisible crap.. I NEED AN AMMO CAN SOOO BAD :( A separate question- when there IS smoke to be seen on a crash, about how far is the maximum render for the smoke? In other words, how close do I need to be to see the smoke plume?

I'm getting a lot of CTD... no similarities between each instance, i.e. random amount of time, random action/non-action at crash.

I'm also curious what "ones" he is referring to with "improvised ones"... improvised map updates?? :huh:

So the whole Persistence On/Off isn't a thing anymore?? It was just a week ago that people were telling me crashes were only visible in servers with Persistence off.
