Hello, I've been having quite the hassle with DayZ Standalone because of the BattlEye EULA pop-up. Whenever I try to launch the game by clicking 'Play' in Steam, this pop-up appears: Whenever I press yes, the loading icon appears next to my cursor and goes away after 2 seconds and nothing will happen at all. I am absolutely clueless on what to do, I tried verifying the integrity of my game cache, running Steam in admin mode and it just doesn't seem to work. Hopefully someone will be able to help me out. I recommend looking at the VERY FIRST post in this thread and look for something that has "ETA" in it. It's short for "Estimated Time of Arrival" a.k.a when it's expected to be released. It gives you your answer! Now go my grasshopper! Search and learn the master's knowledge!

This M4 kid had skill if you were with 7 people looting NWAF and the majority got killed by the kid. Or you all just sucked, one of those two.

Steam Library (a.k.a games list) -> Right-click DayZ -> Properties -> BETAS -> Select "experimental - Preview testing version" No code required.

I set that lower already, i guess all i can do is hope they give you the option to reduce the ground clutter somewhat. Or hope they will recode the engine to a 64-bit engine which will allow everybody to fully use their specs and the game will be A LOT smoother.

Hello, I've searched but didn't came up with anything yet that answered this question. (or i just suck at searching :P) Will there be a ground clutter option added to the settings area of DayZ SA? Ground clutter (grass, plants) is causing a lot of FPS drop and i wish i could bring it down just a tiny notch for a little FPS boost. And yes i know you can remove it manually but you aren't supposed to do that so i wont do that :x

My guess on why people Kill on Sight in the standalone is because there actually isn't really much to do. The SA Alpha is in an early stage and you got no cars, helicopters, base building possibilities and such. So eventually you end up getting all the stuff you want and plenty of ammo, but barely any zombies to shoot so you remain with very few options and the most common one people pick is PvP. I personally am quite the bandit when i got everything i wanted and basically don't need anything else. i seek confrontation with other players and sometimes even run around with 3 - 4 friends searching for other groups to have an epic battle. But yeah, when you die and got to start over, karma will hit me quite bad when i get shot while i had nothing but it's part of the game i guess.

Hey, Is there, or is there going to be an option where you can somewhat reduce the ground clutter in the DayZ Standalone? I would love to reduce it a little bit because it is giving me slight lag and personally i find it a bit too much. I definitely understand that this is an Alpha version and pretty much very VERY far from done, i would still love to know whether this will be implemented or not. This is not just a suggestion because i want it, this is also in consideration for the people that might not have a badass computer that can run DayZ Standalone on the ultrakill settings. I guess i got pretty decent specs but the clutter makes some lag. I know how to remove the clutter completely, but quite sure it's not allowed so i'm not going to do that :P My specs: Windows 7, 64-bit ATI Radeon HD 7850 Sapphire AMD FX-8120 8-core CPU 8 GB RAM DDR3
