The same thing happened to me, but after about 5-10 mins of vaulting, running, crouching, and a mix of all these looking all directions, I finally made it out. Good luck?? If you are very desperate, I can come kill you and try to move your items close so you can get back to them. But that's pretty much a last resort. Edit: When I finally got out, my backpack and gun had "fell" where I was and I had to pick them back again.

Since I know the map by heart I never use the in-game map. But I have to admit that I did the same when the alpha came out... B) I was pretty happy completing the map after searching through every car I came across and most houses and buildings I knew spawned maps. Although I never used it really. The most useful feature for me was the shift-click way point marking and since it's not in the Stand Alone, and I know the map very well, I don't bother carrying any maps with me anymore... :(

Changed the UK vest from black to the camo pattern one. Noticed that the DayZ mod Hero skin used camo pouches on the assault vest so tried it in the SA and love it! B) Ditched the gloves till we get fingerless ones... :lol: Edit: Added DayZ mod screen of a recent Hero character I had on Namalsk for comparison.

Nice video!! Late happy birthday! :thumbsup: (BTW: You can right click to view content on the protector cases to see what's in them and move items around between the inventory and the case. You can't drop items from the case to the ground that way, but if you had a square of space in your backpack you could have put it there then dropped it on the ground.)- 1 reply

Welcome to Chernarus! I have to admit that I've been very lucky in my encounters having met more than 30 non-hostile players in the Stand Alone, and only been killed 3 times in 200+ hours. (have been shot at plenty of times, but didn't die in all but 3 occaisions from these shoot outs.) I've met wonderful players that I still play with and had a great experience overall. I'm enjoying the SA as much as the mod it seems. I hope you have a good time! Safe travels fellow survivor! B) Here's some beans!! :beans: :beans: :beans:

The ACOG fits on the Crossbow, but after some testing, it doesn't seem to be "centered" so I usually use the iron sights for now. Edit: Screenshots added.

Brightness and contrast tweaks for easy night time play heh! :rolleyes: (In the mod we used to call this poor man's night vision, but in the SA since there's no night vision, it's just an exploit... :P ) I love the pistols too. They're not accurate enough for me, but I guess they'll get buffed and work better at longer range eventually. The fact that the pistol dispersion is at 0.3 for all of them except 0.2 for the amphibia .22 is clearly temporary place holder.

Although I do like that idea, I'd love to have real time cycle for some servers at least. But having a bigger risk at night with more zombies or them respawning at night is some thing I would be interested to see and play with. Love that idea.

They probably won't add military aircraft armed and loaded. I wouldn't want that. Maybe when the mods are out people will make a military mod for the stand alone. Weird that it started from a zombie apocalypse mod for a military simulator, and will become a military simulator mod for a zombie apocalypse game... :huh: :lol:

There are spawns in Khelm (south of the NEAF) and also Chernaya Polana (strait north of the said airfield also). Both are quite close to it. Great story mate! Thanks for sharing! Really enjoy reading those! :thumbsup:

Sensitivity Broken for Anyone Else?

It was tested on experimental and now has made it to the stable branch. The mouse acceleration has been changed. I have no issue with it since I have integrated sensitivity control on my mouse and I switched settings so I dunno how would could "fix" it if you already tried changing the in-game sensitivity. :( -
The level of maturity is already very low, now with this it'll go even lower. They say for added "realism"?? (dunno who says that...) If the option to force feed isn't enabled, then I can deal with this, but for "realism", if I saw someone in real life shitting and force feeding an handcuffed human, I would say this is degenerate and would slit his throat without hesitation. I really hope this is just an hoax or fake news. :( (We'll see when we get official word about it.)
