:D First time I "made" this outfit was back in December last year, trying to re-create the hero skin from the mod. It's pretty close, but we still need fingerless gloves and leg holsters! I like more civilian looks, and was also tired of the military look. This is actually the same character we did the trade, I just wanted that look again so I set myself the goal of finding the clothing pieces I needed and went on an adventure to search for them! (In pristine condition of course. ;) ) At least one of my characters will look like that after the wipe, but I seem to be very fond of the new bomber jacket too so a few other characters you'll see appear in screenshots will probably be sporting it in the future! This is do to persistence. I've encountered this "christmas loot" for the first time in experimental when they first implemented the persistence and loot respawn, but never saw that for crash sites. Very interesting!! :thumbsup:

"I only took screen shots of 8 but still. 1 server, 8 (10) heli's (non-persistent server), 3 V3S's; probably won't find one ever again." After doing some tests, I still never saw a crash site on persistent servers. And easily found many on persistence disabled servers.

I'd say not that much considering most of the crash sites were Mi-8. I never find anything good at those, except for the PM73 rak mags and gun... Personally I like the UH-1Y more simply because they spawn AK101, M4 and the Steyr AUG as main weapons and FNX and Amphibias for the pistols. But 10 crash sites on 1 server???? I thought it was restricted to 3, guess we were wrong heh!

Get in contact with the server just to make sure it was persistence enabled, as even if it's written in the server description, there's always a chance it was turned off. As we did tests, going to all 50+ spawn locations on a confirmed persistence enabled server without encountering at least one of the 3 possible crash sites per server restart. Anyway, found anything interesting?

Hmm. The only real problem was that they don't spawn on persistence enabled servers. Since 0.51 experimental. Never had any problem finding them before that, and same thing these days, I just log into persistence disabled servers. For the past 2 weeks, I have found at least 30 crash sites. 10x Mi-8 and 20x UH-1Y. Eventually they'll probably be more "dynamic" and make them spawn random instead of their 50 some fixed possible locations.

They spawn a lot in normal houses too. The red restaurant usually have meds in the bedroom.

You can tear out your shirt, make rags, go to woods and use "search for kindling" on the forest ground, and craft a splint. The broken legs in stairs is mostly a desync problem, as I got only 2 broken legs in 700hrs + of gameplay from this bug. Try playing on servers with lower ping, it might occur less often. Lastly, morphine does the same thing as a splint, and takes only 1 inventory space. Try looking in clinics, hospital and certain houses with a "medical" spawn point (the green 2 story house with a kitchen, office space and a room for example.) Squeezing in before the January 2015 wipe. I probably won't post character shots again until the beginning of 2015, when we start fresh again. I got about 7 or 8 private shards character so I won't post them, only the public ones. 3PP Public shard. Since he didn't die before the last wipe (0.48) I decided to recreate the look he had, and since it's my favorite look anyway, I didn't mind at all. Will probably do the same thing again with this character after the wipe. We got many new items of clothing, but I still like the beige baseball cap, white check shirt, blue jeans and DPM camo UK assault vest the best!! (At least for makeshift DayZ mod hero skin! ^_^ ) Inventory Details 1PP Public shard. On both of those shots I decided to wait in the menu to get a nice sunset lighting. Honestly not much. No firearms but some mags, ammo and attachments. Best for me was a pristine combat knife, which I already had military boots to attach it. Not so bad, but I would've liked to find any suppressors to see if they were crash site restricted in their loot table, but it seems most of the "new" items (0.52 exp) don't spawn at all.

Logged in some private shard I play on, walked for about 5 mins, then encountered this. Gotta say that I also really enjoy dawn, or dusk. :thumbsup:

Didn't lose any of my characters, private or public shards. Can't seem to find any of the new items we use to find in exp 0.52 though... (no bomber jackets, dresses, pumpkin or green pepper seeds, suppressors, prison uniforms, cleaver, swords, etc.) And I've been to all of the "possible" spawn points. (Castles for swords, houses for specific clothes, military spawns like hangars, prison buildings, barracks, found multiple crash sites, etc.) The loot table seems a bit strange, like it's "fixed" but are missing some items to spawn. I was very happy to see the quiver back for the crossbow, and now it seems to have vanished as well. (Used to spawn in the 2 story wooden log pubs.) And, is it just me or the teddy bears are gone from under the Christmas trees? :huh:

I thought when 0.52 went to stable there would be a global wipe, with a new "anti-duping" system (item ID tags) and new anti-cheat. But only after the holidays at the beginning of 2015.... :huh: Was there a global wipe? Duping is really gone?? Would love to have real answers.
