That's what I tried, but alas it didn't work. I'll just give it another try and if it doesn't work, I'll rename the folder or delete it to try something else. Thanks fellas, appreciated.

Ok, I have a noob problem, as I don't understand what Eugene mean. I tried the new BE update on experimental and everything went fine. No crash, no problems, pretty stable experience. I decided to go back to Stable, but now I can't join servers. It says something about not being able to access a file. I saw that Eugene said that we needed to validate data if switching back to stable, but I verified file integrity and it's still happening. Where do you validate data? Edit: Ok, I tried to get into a server again (stable), and it installed the old BE I assume (exp has a new version right?) but now I can't start DayZ anymore, cause it says failed to install BattleEye.... :rolleyes:

Isn't it already like that? I might not understand what you mean. I currently have 9 different characters. 1 on 3PP public hive, 1 on 1PP public hive, and 7 on various whitelisted/non-whitelisted 1PP or 3PP private servers. I switch to the character I want to play on the fly since they're all on different hives. Of course, I need my memory to remember which toons is on which server, but if it's too much, you can just make a list. I'm very happy with that. -

The first one I found was at this crash site. Mi-8 But usually they are found in the small barracks at the NWAF or Myshkino tent base. It is a pretty nice tent non-the-less! :thumbsup:

I would love to see Kamensk and Solnichny mines open and accessible. I wonder if it'll ever be possible.

I just sidestep around them swinging the hatchet towards their head. Very efficient. Try to circle around them, and if your melee is slow, circle around then while stopping sometimes and starting again, timing yourself with the infected' swing. -
Still some memory leaks every 40-60 mins for me. Doing some crash log reports to help out as much as I can.

When they removed the ability to add the bipod to the mosin, the compensator had just been added and together, didn't add anything to the accuracy, code wise or in real time. If they re-add the ability, it should be either the bipod, or the compensator as it would only be esthetic.

That's pretty weird. Never had that happen to me before. Pretty scary stuff if you think about it, does this mean server side that your character is standing still on the hill? Is this visible to other players too? Netcode and synchronizing related bugs are dreadful.

Any news if we're gonna get our private hive toons back? I don't really mind for the gear lost, but I'd start over some characters right away if we're not gonna get any back. Apart from that and the memory leak crashes (once every 40-60 mins for me) , I didn't encounter any invisible zombies, and the old bug related to desync with the zombies hitting you where your "old location" was (ie: hitting you inside a house while you're already running out) hasn't happened to me yet. I've tested aggroing zombies and getting inside buildings, running around inside for a bit and getting outside to see if they would hit me server side while I'm outside client side, and it never happened so I'm pretty happy it's getting better on this side. :thumbsup: The crash sites fixed on persistence is very welcomed too.

Current 3PP public stable branch. Found many unlooted crash sites, but decided to stick with the MP5. I like the AUG and the M4, but the MP5 is my current favorite weapon along with the engraved 1911. Details Still looking for a beige baseball cap, a complete map (just for the kicks as I never use it... :rolleyes: ) and I'm all set. Kinda sad that we can't cook fish now, as I used to always carry the improvised fishing rod. Anyway, really enjoying 0.54 stable so far! :thumbsup:

It depends on the calibre of the round. It's about 6-7 shots with the FN Trombone, but only 1 with the AK101 exemple. It's very easy to craft and can be very effective if you ever miss the first shot, as theywon't hear where the shot is coming. The factory suppressors also gets damaged every shot, so you can ruin them too, but they take a lot more shots! :thumbsup:

They nerfed the regenaration. You get stuffed faster now so you need to be careful how you spend your calories.

Sadly the new UI has been disabled for the stable patch, as it created lots of problems for some players. It was only available for the experimental branch when we tested it.

Didn't encounter them at all yet. My guess is that it's fixed, for now.

Aggathor made a great video about it. The attachments for the vest spawns where you can find the vest. (Military tents, Urals, Tanks, barracks, fire stations, etc.) They seem to be rather small and might be missed if not looking carefully.

The PET bottle drinking is simply inverted. (Drink All and Drink have been switched. "bug" ) Other than that, I love this patch. It does have some memory leak related to old launch parameters, but other than that, I really like it. :thumbsup: -
Well, I have about 9 different characters on private hives, so I just hope I can get some of them back for event and roleplay issues, but I don't mind starting over. It's part of DayZ.

They were on experimental, and the version number for both is the same, so I don't know why they wouldn't appear. Although I have to say that the police care were spawning invible, physical (you could make contact) and were spawning loot also. Let's hope they are visilbe on persistent stable servers.

There's been an unofficial private hive wipe. Just don't play or log into private hive servers where you have characters, as we might get a rollback and get them back. (Just like Eugene said about attachments)
