    I think Dudester mean the radio (music), and not the walkie-talkies. I haven't seen any radios in this build, nor did I see anyone report finding them.

    Sorry if all this was already known, but it's the first time I ever find a barrel. Really liking the open lid/close lid mechanic, where you need the lid off of the barrel to place item in and out of it, and once there's items in the barrel, you can't move it. Made a small camp with my Radioactive Class 3 barrel. No worries there, I have my license to carry such materials. (No kidding, in real life I have a certification to carry radioactive materials from the Hospital I used to work. ^_^ )

    Another small update on the static fireplaces. You can use a stick if you don't have a cooking pot. Like I said on my first post yesterday at 2PM, careful using the cooking pots as the option to "view content" has been removed for now. Might try the newui later today. For now, sharing some more screenshots of the fireplace. Lastly, did anyone find a USMC jacket? Got some pants, but haven't seen anyone else report about finding a pair, or a jacket for that matter.

    I have to say that I didn't see any items respawn. Persistence is active, as I had left a tent yesterday with some items in it, and it was still there today, but no new items had spawned in the same server. The crash site I was next to had the same items, with the same empty 30rnd mag. I'm assuming that if anything respawns at all, it takes a few days...

    Really like the lit fireplaces now. Not only does it look good, and let you cook food with a cooking pot, but the smoke comes out of the chimney too! :thumbsup:

    What's new about the Walkie-talkie? It always been in DayZ as far as in 0.30. Was working fine for a while, then got de-activated, but that's it. I always seen those walkie-talkies in the stand alone.

    Weapon cleaning kits were still in 0.57, just very rare. I had to search far and wide to find one to repair one of my AUGs. Now I always carry one. (MP5 get damaged very quickly it seems.)

    It,s not the first iteration of a new 3PP camera, and it surely won't be the last. It's a bit better than the 0.57 one, but it's still pretty "exploitable". We'll see how it goes from here.

    Somehow the cargo pants spawn at "nato" crash sites, along with the USMC pants. Hunter pants can easily be found in deer stands. Jeans and canvas pants still any civilian house really. Didn't find any Gorka pants, so I guess they are still restricted to the prison island like in 0.57 stable. The medical pants spawns in hospitals and 3 story clinics. Sometimes in the blue clinics too, but they seem more scarce there. For the 6 slots, I'd go for hunter pants right now. USMC ones look great and I really like them, but they are pretty rare. Oh, and lastly, unrelated to pants, but it seems persistence is "on", at least for items as I rejoined the same server I was after the 4 hours restart about 15 mins ago, and the same items with the same stuff inside them were still there, nothing new spawned. Haven't tested tents yet, but I pitched one outside a house so we might get some feedback about it eventually from someone else.

    It seems like the dynamic events are still not dynamic. Myshkino tent city military base didn't have a single item in any tent, except for one... Hunting pants now spawns in deer stands, which is very nice and makes more sense than in the school. Also, found some new USMC pants at a UH-1Y (Smoking "nato" crash site) Logged in on the first server I saw, no crash and no lag throughout my play session. Edit: USMC pants look in 3PP, pristine. (Menu)

    Hmm. Action bar don't work. In fact, can't take anything in hands. No guns, no melees, nothing... Edit: After re-logging, it works fine. I was just lazy to re-connect, and stayed in the same server for 2 hours... <_<

    Personally, the "bionic eye" zoom can be removed. I always found it silly, and will always find it silly. We have iron sights, scopes, binocs and what-not to use and look/see further... Anyway, sad to see no 1PP servers again. No big change on the 3PP, it's still exploitable as hell. Unpacking bullets from boxes gives you a piece of paper too somehow.

    Found plenty of infected in Elektro where I spawned. Careful using the cooking pot, can't "view content" anymore, and have the option to "drink" and "drink all" instead. Crafted a stone knife, but it wasn't showing in hands, still had it and could use it. Replaced the item in hands with something else and it appeared in my inventory. The guard houses don't spawn anything anymore, so maybe military barracks are back "online" with military gear. Nothing shows in hands actually...

    Then you're the first one to find it, as I never seen one in 0.57, nor did I see someone report it was back in, as we had already shared a list of missing items and it was part of it, like all the M4 attachments,etc. Care to post a screenshot of it and tell us where you found it? I'm curious.

    Both of these are not in the current loot tables. Can't find them. Like batteries and a few other items too. (M4 Magpull grip and stock, CQB buttstock, etc.) Edit: OEM buttstock is confirmed to be missing, but it seems fellow member IMT has found an AK handguard rail.

    Honestly, since we know about most of the current bugs, there's lots of workarounds for them.... I played about 35-40 hours during 0.57 experimental and stable, and I have to admit that I didn't lose anything, at all, do to the "vanish"/"broken hands" bug. I didn't even have the bug where double carrying could not let you vault or you would lose the item in your hands. I have no problem what-so-ever when vaulting. Anyway, I don't mind 0.57, but it's not my favorite, mainly do to the easiness of the current build, and the rarity of animals. But that being said, looking forward to 0.58!

    It never was a sniper rifle in the first place. It may have been used to snipe, and still can, but in no way was the mosin nagant a sniper rifle. You can say it's a bolt action military rifle, or Russian service rifle in WW1, WW2 and the Russo-Japanese war before World War 1.

    <_< Buying DayZ : 38.99$ Seeing cry babies whine on the forums: Priceless. Now back to the main topic people. Have anyone noticed that the sound effects on certain animals were removed? Back in experimental 0.57, the fox used to have a distinctive sound, but on stable I didn't hear any sounds at all on the 2 I found. The other animals seem to be fine, but I've yet to find a boar. Pigs, cows, deers, sheep, goat and chicken seem to be ok though, so it might be only the fox. Edit: Also, I've been using pistols for quite a while now and was pretty surprised at the buff the 1911. I used the pistols a lot to dispatch infected, but even more since the suppressors were re-added, and were updated with their new sound effects. It always took at least 2 shots, unless you aimed for the head, even with the powerful magnum, 1911 or FNX, but since 0.57 it seems the 1911 takes only 1 shot to kill the infected, no matter if they are civilian or military, and no matter where you aim, legs or head. Sorry if this was already shared, but I didn't see anything related to this.

    The long range scope was removed. You need a PU scope for the mosin, like Elle said. If you want long range on a scope, try using the hunting scope on a Winchester model 70 (Alaskan), or the SVD.

    It would have been a rich quick scheme if they ran away with the money, months ago.... <_< It might feel like two steps back for you, but it's not, for the game itself. The thing is, bug reporting on the forums don't help out the devs, it just gives us, the community, info about them. Report them to the bug tracker really if you want something "fixed". Lastly, you say that some things are now broke, when they were fixed. The fact is that they never were "fixed" in the first place, they were not completed yet. Have fun! If not, they move along and try to find something that brings you joy. Good luck. B)

    Hmm. Is it just me, or since the re-implemented persistence with the vehicles, there's nothing respawning at the heli crash sites. I just tried 2 private servers I usually play on, right after a restart, with only me on the server, and there was nothing, not even pairs of boots, which is very odd... Everything else was alright and fresh items were at the guard house near, with the vehicles at their usual place (meaning no one took them or been there) but the crash sites were completely empty. 2 different private servers, one's Fragnet, the other a Gameservers one. Pretty weird, as since 0.57 went online with persistence disabled, crash sites have been very generous item wise.

    Cargo pants in industrial garages. Hunter pants in the new school building. Jeans and canvas in many civilian houses. TTsKO and police uniforms at the prison island. Expect the loot spawns to change again many times before we hit beta. The various loot spawn/locations have already changed more times than I can remember...
