The 1911 take out infected in 1 shot, even if you shoot them on the foot, but somehow it took at least 4 shots to kill them with the UMP. (Unless you aim for the head.) Thus the reason I think they'll buff/fix it. Makes no sense right now. -
Hmm. Maybe it's just me that never tried it, or seen anything posted about that, but since when can you place the improvised suppressor on pistols? I used it a lot since it came out, on M4s, Steyr AUGs, Longhorn, CR527 and Win70 mostly, but when I tried to put it on a pistol I couldn't. I just made one for the CR527 I was carrying, and it vanished, but then I noticed on my hotbar that it was placed on the P1 I was carrying. Edit: Discard if this isn't new. <_<

I switched servers, and the wonkiness was gone. Helped a fellow survivor in Berezino, with some tips and food. Found great stuff to build my character, and it looks like loot distribution is way better than it was. I haven't checked any of the military tents yet, but no more houses with hundreds of jackets and shirts of all types!

Hmm. I'm not sure the "wipe" people have experienced is related to the servers not being connected to the hive yet, as I just logged in and was a fresh spawn... (A few hours after the new build.) Also, there seems to be some wonkiness with BE, as I keep getting kicked because BE is not responding. Never, ever had that before since Dec 2013... :lol:

Really liking how the infected have various clothes to make a bigger variety of infected roaming the map. Really looking forward to the new vehicles and mechanics, also, the new player animations based on the new skeleton!! Awesome guys, keep it up! B)

:thumbsup: It will be fixed for sure, just like the MP5. At first, you could fire 3 or 4 mags before badly damaging the MP5, but it has been changed since. I think the same is gonna eventually happen to the UMP. (I hope so at least.) And maybe a buff too? It's damage is one of the lowest of all the weapons. You can even compare it to the Amphibia .22 :lol: Great video non-the-less Tope! B) Edit: Hey man!! Congrats on being feature in the new Status Report!! You deserve it! -

Managed to go up north to where the bugged patch of missing texture, or "snow", is and take some shots before it's gone. Even though it's just a bug, it somewhat looks like snow so I had to go and check it out for myself. ;) I was so excited when I saw the Namalsk screenshot with the Stand Alone engine in the status report, so I'm really hoping we eventually see snow in Chernarus+, Namalsk, or any modded maps with snow really.

As much as I would love snow, this is really just a graphical glitch. Until we get the new renderer in, I really don't think they're gonna mess around with textures like this, just like they're not doing anything on lighting until we get said renderer. Eventually, at some point, either with a new map or seasonal changes, snow will be in for sure. B)

That really looks like the same glitch a fellow DayZ player from the Colony posted up. He had this happened to him on Stable 0.57, so if the claims are that Snow is in exp 0.58 as testing purposes, the claims are false. http://imgur.com/a/Oy6bF

Ditched about 5 CR527 mags in the "lootplosion" tent in Myshkino tent city yesterday, on AUS 3PP. They usually spawn in civilian houses, and are pretty common honestly. AKM magazines can be found normally spawning in the tent that has all the loot spawning, in NWAF, Stary Sobor and Myshkino tent city. You can also find them in military barracks. (The old ones, not the new ones, yet.)

Just had a good play session with Tatanko, Dudester and BleedoutBill. Things went pretty smoothly and not counting the desync while being a passenger of V3S, no rubberbanding or bad lag spikes. Got the chance to see a heard of 4 deers, 1 adult and 3 young ones. Some screenshots of the night. Thanks fellas. I had quite an enjoyable evening.

The first time I got a Skalisty island spawn was in 0.54 experimental, since then it's been more rare, but I got a total of 4 spawns on the island. Pretty nice. I like it.

Seriously, until the game is finished, don't get attached to your gear, and even then, just don't.... There already been at least 5 global wipes for the stable branch at various points in time since 0.28, back in December 2013. (I'm not even talking about the 30+ wipes from all the different experimental builds, there's a wipe almost every experimental patch unless it's just a small fix.) Just for your information, there will be other wipes until we hit beta, and even after that it's still possible that they're will be a few more wipes. If it really bothers you that much, I'd suggest avoiding the development process/early access stage of DayZ. (And other similar games, as often you'll need to start a new game to have access to the new items and mechanics and avoid bugs/glitches do to corruption. Ex: 7 Days to Die, Stranded Deep, Subnautica, etc.))

I just wanted to make friends but instead i learned that because of the loot splosions lots of cold blooded killers are back on experimental , be careful out there boyZ. I'm glad you took them out. Indeed with all those loot piles everywhere it's been mostly a harsh experience in the current exp build. :thumbsup: Good job. B)

Right now in either the exp build or stable 0.57, the AUG is almost at every single crash site. (UH-1Y "nato" smoking choppers, not the Russian Mi-8) It's too easy to find one in stable since persistence is disabled and fresh loot spawns every server restart, while it's a little bit more rare on experimental. In anyway the M4 attachments like the Magpul grip and stock are nowhere to be found, at all. (In about 50 crash sites combining 0.57 stable, and the current 0.58 experimental, I haven't seen a single M4 or it's attachments. Even the 10rnd, 20rnd, 30rnd STANAG or 40rnd mags seem to be gone, only the 30 rnd Cmag and coupled 60rnd mag seem to spawn.

The only sources for experimental is ourselves. I'd say thousands of hours playing with our fellows Tatanko, Barnabus, Dudester, Tux, BleedoutBill, GrapefruitKush, BioHaze, and many more, from our collective knowledge. You can directly ask Hicks or Eugene on that matter, but it's kinda tough having direct answers from them sometimes.

AKM and AK74 spawn at barracks and tents with their proper attachments. AK101 is absent from the loot tables right now, but you can still find the mags at UH-1Y crash sites. (Smoking Nato chopper crash) Vests can be found at military tents around the map. (Myshkino tent city, NWAF, Stary Sobor tents) All the loot of the tents spawn in only 1 of the tents at all those locations, making it pretty hotspots for server hoppers, and without the changing server spawn timer, it's even worst... As for hunting backpacks, they might have used to spawn in military areas, but they're not military gear, just like the mountain packs. Not anymore. Only the tortilla can be considered "military" backpack. The hunting backpack can easily be found in deer stands, feeding shacks and even sheds. Safe travels survivor.

Yep, it's been like that since at least 0.51 as when you use a weapon, it degrades, or, you can find weapons already in "damaged" state. When they changed the crash sites from the Blackhawks to UH-1Y Bell Venom choppers, and added the AUG, both the AUG and M4 could spawn in "damaged" state. Also, all weapons have various degradation speeds. Lastly, before all those changes, since 0.30 you could get your weapon damaged when getting shot, or even ruined. As for the lights, always been like that because of the legacy tech we still have. When the new renderer hits, you'll see those bugs disappear. At least that's what we hope!

In normal times it doesn't heat up, as we have cold weather where I'm at. (-30 C in winter) but right now there's what we called here a "heat wave", and I'm helpless against +36 degrees celsius... (besides, got no money for liquid cooling... system isn't build for that at all)

I'll try, but not sure if I'll make it, as it's 36 degrees Celsius at my place, and my system is heatin up pretty badly... Got many fans cooling it up, but it's not enough when I start using the GPU, it gets to 80-85 pretty fast... We'll see if I can think of something to cool it out. Talk to you later man!
