The thing is, it was happening to me also, until I started taking the sewing kit or duct tape in my hands, THEN using it to fix clothes, backpack or craft bottle suppressors. Never disappeared on me after that. Yes, it's a bug, but there's an easy workaround. -

Clearly you don't understand. The problem was fixed. No matter if a file was corrupted on YOUR system, the issue was officially fixed. That was a fact. I gave you a solution to your personal problem, and this solution works, yet you're still blaming the devs? Insulting me? Yeah, great community. Ungrateful popo. Next time I'll think twice before helping out.

How, then you might have some issues. Try deleting your dayz_config files and check if it's still happening, because I had no issue doing normal attacks with simple left click and heavy attacks while holding shift, either on experimental yesterday or stable today. Played for 3-4 hours, killed many infected, no problems with melee for me.

For the past 5 years we could move while in the inventory, but it was recently change with the new animation system. I liked having access to it while moving, but it was too "arcade" style, while DayZ was aiming for a more authentic experience, so I understand the switch, and I've learned to really appreciate it.

I downloaded CrazyMike's mod and found a server with it. Enjoying some winter wonderland. Now they just need to update stable with the latest experimental branch and it'll be perfect!!

Back on topic, again. After some search I found some snowfall on a private server, so it's not only restricted to public hive.

I will start my search! Do we know if it's only on public hive? Or on the community servers too? Cause right now I'm on the experimental branch and there's no snow even if we have Christmas trees and presents.

KNOWN ISSUES Server crashes can cause a persistence wipe. So especially for server owners, try to work with regular persistence backups and if you encounter server crashes, report with your crash dumps to our Feedback Tracker. If you have any proven reproduction steps for persistence wipes, let us know. The team is working on a long-term solution, which unfortunately will take some time.

You need a green can of spray paint, but it was removed in 0.63. You need to wait till it gets brought back in-game. Some modded servers on PC re-added it, but nothing official for now.

Staroye tents server hoppers go for the Long sleep

You did good. There's been server hoppers for as long as DayZ exists. Was like that in the mod and still is like that in the Stand Alone. What "fixed" it for me is private hives. I play on full pop private servers so I can avoid this, and most hackers/cheaters too. Official servers are a hazard and sometimes a plague.
