Hey guys, my clan and me want to finally set up our own DayZ SA server. It shouldn't be that big, we are thinking about something like 15-30 slots and are currently scanning for all the providers out there. Fragnet.net is quite inexpensive, so is Gameservers.com but there the servers start at 30 slots, making it in the end more expensive again. Zap-Hosting.com and Gamersfactory.de are even more affordable but it's only for preorder now, so no real server at the moment. Do you have any more recommendations? Which provider do you use? Or have you already experience with hosting a Fragnet server? I am thankful for all your tipps and feedback! :) cheers, Kalle

Hey folks, you surely know this stank statue, which you can find in Cherno or Berezino, right? Well a friend of mine is totally into model making and just bought a model of the tank there. Now he would love to build the foot/podest/foundation of that thing to put the tank on top. But somehow he's too stupid (or too perfectionistic, I don't know^^) to take exakt measurements of that thing ingame to build it with styrofoam. And since I own a 3D printer, here comes my question: Is there a way to get the 3D file of that thing so I can print it for him? He would totally go apeshit if he finds that thing 3D printed in the mail for christmas, I tell you :D Thanks a lot for your help! Cheers, Kalle

Hey folks, I added 3 new landscape screenshots to the first post. Enjoy!

Well, I grew up using Photoshop so I can only give you the advice to use this one ^^ but of course if you don't earn your living with it then you are not likely to buy it just to polish some screenshots. Anyway, if you do want to get your hands on that piece of software, there are some nice YouTube channels giving tutorials such as "Howard Pinsky" or "Phlearn". Or simply look for tutorials on how to improve landscape photography stuff in general. When I work on my screenshots, after chosing the best ones (I took like 80 today and uploaded only these three, which is much!), I like to run some instagram style color filters first to get some inspiration. Afterwards I play around with layer blending modes, the selective color correction, vignettes and bluring either fore- or background by hand and sharpening the point of interest. I hope I could help you a little bit :)

Indeed, I am a freelance designer who shoots with his Canon EOS 550D in his spare time :) Well and while gaming, I take a lot of screenshots as well, do some color correction, add blur, crop etc. It's magic :D

Hey guys, here's a collection of the "photos" I take during my trips. I thought bundling them in one thread would be a nice idea. enjoy, Kalle

sorry for the double post ... Lovely picture, indeed! But you should revisit the editing process and straighten the horizon. At the moment it's curved on the right edge of the picture, which looks weird. Afterwards it's perfect :)
