Everytime I play late into the night, I can't sleep because of the adrenaline. And my girlfriend is constantly telling me to stop shouting. Love the intensity.

Recieved this wonderful message MANY APOLOGIES for the self bump, but I wanted to share - Chimpy - you've ruined my day! I was meant to be doing some coursework - instead I've been watching through your entire DayZ series. I watched episode 16 first. Everyone is playing DayZ or Rust at the moment, so I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary. You had me completely hooked though! Especially as you were getting close to the airfield... it was incredibly tense. It works so well with the two of you - it was almost as if this was a real life-or-death situation. I was totally gripped, waiting to find out what would happen next, whether you'd make it. You actually play the game excellently as well -the way you cover each other, the way you systematically moved through the building clearing rooms - it was masterful! Great work Made my day.

The server froze and Johnno, as a result, ended up looking like the King of Pop.

Did you see the gear he had on him? That was clearly the work of looting multiple bodies. Also, in the build up there were shots from multiple weapons and only one person left alive. And you can't really say what I saw from my perspective because you haven't seen it. I will upload a video later on so you can judge based on evidence.

Hmm... a large retlentless force that on it's own isn't very dangerous but in large numbers can overwhelm... Sounds familiar!

How much are you getting? Best, sometimes 30 FPS at worst around about 16... Anyone have any suggestions on optimal settings?

I mixed the settings up last night, some things on max, some things disabled and I got crazy mixed results. Highs of 120 FPS running from town to town/in the wilderness and lows of 15 PFS in Cherno. I will do some overclocking and try again tonight. Never known like it.

I think that just about says it all doesn't it. A descent rig like that and still cities still seem to take a huge bite out of your FPS. 99.99% certain they will optimise and bring it all in line.

It's very hard to tell. You get somewhat of a general direction but no great accuracy.

I have a water cooled CPU... I saw no difference.

My friend Manbearpig87 tells me exactly that! Comepletely counter intuative but I may give that a go tonight. Perhaps more means less, so to speak.

So is it a CPU or a GPU issue? GPU I assume?

I am ALL for this. I had a bit of a mystery meat problem in Epoch.

It's almost impossible to trust anyone you meet in DayZ, you need some friends you know to start playing and go around in a group. It enhances the whole game.

Things are going to get VERY interesting! Can't wait for the new implementations.
