Would read again? I sort of agree with OP and sort of don't. There is a fine line between fun and frustrating. Being thrown from a ladder for no reason falls into the frustrationg categorty. But thats Alpha stuff. In the final game if you need to eat fruit to keep healthy and take the kids to school and do your tax return form and go for prostate examinations, then it does stop being fun. There is being a challenge and being obtusively tedious. Dark Souls gets the balance perfect.
