I was watching RhinoCRUNCH play it for awhile. I just had to buy arma 2 afterwards, I just wish I heard of arma before then, though.

Yeah, maybe for the standalone. Rocket has more important things to worry about at the moment.

Was that on a low pop server? Because I was near the NWAF(I think) found a tent on top of a small hill, took 4 cooked meat and some AS50 Mags. Not sure if that was yours but if it was than thanks, I almost died of starvation.

If you took stuff thats already ingame then meh... but if you took anything that you can't find ingame than f*ck you.

I used to be a console gamer, got a pc that could handle gaming and I never looked back. Look at battlefield, graphics wise. Even on ALL of the lowest settings, it still looks better than console. Consoles are heavily outdated. Only an idiot would think otherwise. Any game made for consoles would have to be water-downed so it can handle it. Besides, I don't know what rocket was thinking, how could consoles even play it? For one I use almost ever key for Arma. There isn't enough buttons on the controller to port it to consoles without having to remove a lot of mechanics.

That was pretty good.I wonder how the 'movie' is going to turn out.

I'm on day 14 and I've only played 4 hours top on that char. It goes by when the character was saved to the hive.

Protip; never buy from retail. I bought this computer for 1000$+ tax, The actual cost of the parts are 600-700$. I really wish I knew what I know now about computers when I bought this. But hey, it can run Arma 2 on med. Its also strange that nobody said this, the graphics card in your ps3 is like 3-4 years old and its impossible to upgrade it. You can upgrade a pc graphics card easily if the motherboard/gpu is up-to-date. Not only that but you use your entire keyboard for arma, there is NOT enough buttons for a controller. Really, just invest in a good PC, its worth the money...

Learn more about the game, really. I think we all used to only survive for a small amount of time. But once you learn more about it, you can survive for days and days. When I first spawn I usually sprint straight through cherno or electro. Get everything I need(A gun,map,hunting knife, morphine, ect) and get the hell out of there. The more time you spend in places where good loot spawns, the more likely you're going to get shot at. Also, if you're running snipers might have a harder time getting a clear shot at you.

Yeah... I agree... But... what the hell type of video file is that?*googles it* You would need to record in .mp4 format to edit in sony vegas. Sony Vegas is very picky about the video/audio formats it likes.

I got really low on humanity because soon to be bandits shot at me(and missing), thus making me a bandit, thus making me not to be trusted, thus having to kos everyone. Also, removal of starting weapons and food helped some of it. There's no reason for actual bandits(not murderers, but bandits that actually take your stuff) to kill newly spawn players. I'll actually try to communicate with somebody that doesn't have a weapon or has a hatchet. I refuse to talk to anyone with a weapon I don't know. Besides, whats to stop a survivor or a soon to be bandit from killing another survivor?

But what else are you going to do after you just raided the nwaf for the last time? That's what I want to know. Well, you can't do much about those, even on a game like minecraft, they'll always be there. But giving them something else could occupy their time...

Before I state the suggestion, I want to tackle something I hear a lot. That is "adding a bandit skin fill fix it!" In actuality, it wouldn't. Bandits would still be bandits, y'know? They're still going to shoot you from 1000 meters away with a scoped rifle and whatnot. To actually fix the problem, you need to do one of two things(or both.) 1.) More incentive to help people. Anything really. Right now there is more reason to kill someone(Food+Gear/The cure for boredom) then there is to help them. Other than out of the kindness of your heart, why would you help someone? The game isn't really that hard once you get used to it, and you wouldn't really gain much from it other than a slight boost against players. Note: This is talking about random people and no one you know IRL. Obviously. 2.)Something else to do. I mean lets face it, once you get the best gear in the game and build a car/heli. What's left to do other than kill players? You could say 'survive'. But whats that? Killing animals and drinking pond water 5000 miles away from civilization? If that's you're meaning of fun then go ahead without me. It could be something like being able to build a fort with others in a server or something, I'm not good at coming up things 'on the fly', okay? I'm a thinker.

I have to agree with some of the other people that posted here, I wouldn't want to be labeled as a bandit because I killed a few survivors that shot at me. Then again I'm a lone wolf so it wouldn't really matter...
