frustration is part of the game :) but actually I like starting from nothing, the looting startup gear is pretty nice as you need almost everything, so most of item you find is a good surprise. it's more frustrating when you miss few specific items that you don't manage to find -
try run an vault and try logout, login again and run/vault while your character is loading on the server

yep, you can combine adjacent map pieces (ie: NW and NE) by dragging a map piece on another one in your inventory so with: - NW + NE = North Map - SW + SE = South Map - South + North = Complete map (and only 1 slot in inventory)

It's rare but absolutly possible that you meet another player on a very low populated server, even in not very high traffic area. what happened to you could make sens if this guy was hunting you and following you for a moment There are lot's of zero angle in the construction site, the guy could go to last floor while you was looting the building, and was waiting for you to climb to last floor, or to have a good sniping position if you left the building without going to last floor. Also possible that is ghosted you, or used a hack to locate players...

the "tube with needle" is an IV kit but you can't bloodbag yourself, you need another player to transfuse you

are you capturing you screen with a webcam or a phone ? :huh:

you can try to logout, then login again and run/vault during the loading of your character, sometimes it helps when your stuck inside a wall

it's a known issue (rubber band)

when you are sniped at long distance, you don't hear the gun shoot, but you hear a sound similar than when you hit a zed/player with an axe (guess it's the sound of the bullet entering your flesh)

Make us able to salvage weapon parts from weapons so we can repair worn/shit weapons

it's already how it's work, you can remove part from a weapon in vicinity to replace a part of your own weapon -
DayZ is NOT fun for new players, which makes me worried.

2 tips: - you can combine maps pieces so finally it will tak only one slot in you inventory (right click on map piece, you need to have adjacent map piece, ie: NW and SW) - while running, you can open the inventory tab and inspect the compass, you will see your direction

it seems Rocket said is thinking about adapting the game for Xbox/PS if the sales of PC version is successfull, and only when the PC version will be stable and wilol have enough content. So it's not something that will happen soon, but may be one day.

actually it's supposed to be the case already. You need to sit few minutes to keep your healthy status after losing some energy (like running on a long distance). but it tested to never sit for several hours with some sprint of 2-3km and didn't loose my healthy status , so I guess there is some balance to do
