    No it's not possible to add oil to cars in the current version. But I repaired 2 ADAs since 1.02, and they works perfectly (well, as perfectly as a car can work in DayZ 🤣) without motor sign. Are you sure you completly filled the radiator with water ? When radiator has less than 2/3 of water, it's usually smoking and you have yellow/red motor sign (depending on how much water you have)

    Combination Lock Issues

    medium tents were a bit clunky on previous versions. If I had a large item in hands preventing to crouch (a tire, metal panel, whatever) I was able to access inventory just by standing near entrance, but once I placed the item in the tents inventory was closing and I had to get inside the tent to acess it again. So I was already used to get inside the tent. Also if an open barrel was close to the tent, I was able to access tent inventory from outside depending on where my character was placed.

    Combination Lock Issues

    It's a bit more tricky now to access military and car tents inventory than on previous version. For military you need to be at the bottom of the tent (after the central pole), also if it's close to a tree and branch are inside the tent, it might reduce the zone where inventory is accessible. For car tent you need to be pretty much at the middle of the tent (but if you stand at entrance or bottom you won't access it) For civilian it didn't changed much in my experience. But I have 8 mil tents and 3 car tents across my server, and all of them are working fine, once you found where to place your character to access inventory EDIT : for combolocks, yes it's currently bugged as hell... But they are few (and annoying...) workarounds you can use, check this thread :

    well well well... Once again this !@&# CLE is trying to drive me crazy. Of course since I complained not finding something, I found it soon after. So you might read me complain more often now 😀 I got a 2 RVN sights, utility buttpack and assault vest at the small mil-tents West and South-East of Sevegorad. I also found an olga trunk in the barn in Gvozdno (but not seen the car itself yet).

    Duping is killing the game

    I think it's the case. I've seen few Xbox duping vids (that I'll not link of course) and it's dramatically easy... I don't think this works on PC version. And as said by few, younger or more used to casual FPS/BR player base, that are probably more willing to exploits to make the game suited for them, especially when the exploit is so easy.

    I'm not sure it's linked with official/community servers. Do you know if this community server was running on public or private hive ? I have a vanilla community server on public hive, I've played about 50h on 1.02, and I didn't see a single new item either. My current play style is to setup few "bases" around the map (it's more camps with a couples of fences/doors mostly, that I used as a logistic platform to store various stuffs, like medical supply, car parts, weapons/ammo or building materials). So I'm looting all kinds of city/buildings/military and stashing like a madman. I'm sure these items are just not spawning, or I would have find at least one. I currently have 2 theories : - new items just don't spawn at all on public hive ? (that means official server but also community/public hive like mine) - these items requires a wipe to spawn ? I'm thinking mostly about the olga. I guess the CLE have a max number of car per server let's say 20 (no idea if it's the correct number, just an example) and from my experience cars don't seem to despawn except when destroyed. Since 1.02 ADA was the only car, so it's likely 20 ADAs spawned accross my server. Since I didn't wipe after 1.02, these 20 ADAs are still there, and the max number is still 20 cars. Therefore, no Olga should ever spawn until I destroyed few ADAs ? What you guys think ? For the survivor that found these items, do you know if you ever found some on public hive server ?

    I'm jumping in because it's been years I read about tiers 1/2/3/4 stuff, and I never got a fricking idea of what it means... Thanks to this post, I think I got it now. Let's take this map (I understood it's waaaayy outdated but it's just an example) : Tier 1 = zone 1, tier 2 = zone 2 etc... ? Which means that if I loot Green Mountain/Pavlovo/Trotskoye (zone 2) I'll chances to find average (aka tier 2) loot (SMG, UMP) And if I loot the exact same buildings in NWAF or DMC (zone 4) I might find highend (aka tier 4) loot (M4/AK) And if I loot Balota (zone 1) I'll find mostly basic (aka tier 1) loot (SKS, FX-45) Is that how it works ??

    all these tests were made when I was alone on the server, public hive server from FragNet so no mods at all 1st test : gate builded in 1.02, but already got locked previously with a 1.01 lock that I cutted to open the gate. Server has been restarded several time since no prompt when trying to attach the lock remove wire, build gate again => no prompt remove wire, restart server, build gate => no prompt 2d test : completly dismantled the door and builded it again the prompt is showing, lock attach correctly => lock can be open with the code the prompt is showing, lock attach correctly, restart server => lock can be open with the code ! (strange, this is not the behavior I experienced earlier, but all my previous attempts was with locks looted in 1.01) BUT the lock is still attached to the post/log and dont drop on the ground if I look at the ground where the lock should be, I get the "[F] take combination lock" prompt but it don't do anything and lock is still attached to the post/log server restart now lock is on the ground and can be picked after opening the door, it still have the same code configured prompt to attach lock shows correctly, lock attach correctly => lock can be open with the code I attach the lock again and restart server same behavior than previous scenario (lock open with code, but still attached to the post) I remove wire, lock go on the ground and can be picked I rebuild gate, lock can be attached again So in conclusion

    I have a public Vanilla server, no mods at all... But yes, my tests were done with locks I looted in 1.01. I looted new locks yesterday, I'll try again tonight and compare the behaviors.

    You make me doubt now 😄 I'm 100% sure I can attach it to doors builded in 1.02 (just tried it again now on 2 differents doors) the usual way just by standing in the middle of the door with the lock in hands I'm not so sure now I tried to attach it to a door builded in 1.01. As I already discovered that code is lost on server restart, I gave up trying to lock my smaller base and had no spare locks anyway. You should try to dismantle your door and rebuild it, with a crowbar you retreive 100% of materials (just be carefull the get the planks/nails/wire into your inventory before removing posts with the shovel, or it will be lost, I experienced that on my main base)

    Yes I'm still able to attach a combolock to a door (whatever the door was builded in 1.01 or 1.02), but it's almost useless as combolocks are bugged in this build. Works fine as long as the server don't restart, but after a restart the code you defined just don't work and you can't open the lock anymore... I tried to brute force a code but wasn't able to open it anyway, so it look like the code did not changed on server restart, but just don't work anymore... (or I was too tired and I missed some combinations during my brute force attempt 🙄)

    I think Oil refill don't work on this patch, I'm not able to refill oil of ADA as well. But ADA works fine without Oil, I readed on the EXP thread that the Olga works fine without oil too. Not sure for the fuel as I never found an Olga yet, but guys n EXP said it was the same place than ADA (near the rear right wheel)
  21. Isn't it one of the purpose of EXP branch ? IMO Test servers only should be running on EXP version, and allow to test/adapt mods when a new version is released, and yes can be unstable and require server stop. Once the patch hit the stable, most of the bugs should be already seen/fixed on EXP

    at work so I can't get the screenshots, but I love the place at GPS coordonates 9521/12222. it's a medium lake lost in the middle of the woods between Severograd and Krasno. To bad there are not enough flat ground in the area, or I would have setup a camp here.

    You can do that on current version with animal fat. Craft the torch with rags, then add fat. It will consume a rag and extend durability of the torch. You can repeat that once and add back the 2 missing rags. The torch is usually 93%-95% and last for quite long (never checked exactly how long, but more than 30mn, may be an hour)
