    Thanks, and I agree that this is a pretty good build so far. I haven't played since 0,55 really and I'm pleased with the progress. It might be me but I think the hotkeys are more responsive which does wonders for me.

    So I haven't been around for a while, but why aren't there any 1pp servers? I'm getting a sick feeling that they might be toying with the idea of only 1pp/3pp servers. Please tell me I'm paranoid. :)

    Hey I can confirm the car tent keeps items through server restarts...at least it did through 2 restarts.

    Already thought about it too. Once reinforcement of structures are implemented each member of your clan could have a cabin to themselves :)

    You should put this in the suggestions section of the forum. I thought about the same thing, but didn't go as far as having the apples render. If rendering would be too hard, time consuming, or taxing to the server maybe just have a set number of tries that a tree could be subjected to by any player over a certain amount of time. So if you come up on a tree that has already been hit by a player instead of getting "you found nothing" you should get "the tree is picked clean" or something like that. I think that would be easier for the devs to implement and get close to the result we are looking for.

    I totally agree with your sentiments, especially those highlighted red. I've gotten fairly geared (High cap vest, SKS w/scope and ammo, trumpet with plenty of ammo for the infected, healthy, etc.) by just skulking around small villages. I said something similar (having to adapt to a changing game) to a complainer the other day. In fact I kinda like how I've changed play styles over the past couple years going from the Mod through all the SA builds. You get more than one game for the price of one...kinda

    How about having both English and Cyrillic on the map. Otherwise there would be no way for me to verbally explain where I am. It would be as if we were native Cyrillic speakers and the English is just our character translating it. Otherwise I'd have to learn another language, and that's harder than googling.

    The best I found for infected melee is a stun baton. 1-2 hits and they are down, not sure about military infected though. Used it so much my battery died, and haven't found a battery since (10hrs), I think I need to go to the coast and trade a bambi some food for their battery....I bet that would surprise them

    I can loose infected in the woods and breaking line of site in cities sometimes, though if I run around too much in a city trying to loose one I pick up another infected. Now that my character has been alive for over a week I don't need to eat as much. I think you are so depleted when you first spawn you eat like a baby bird, just piling it away. But once you have been healthy for about 5-10 hrs of gameplay, and you consistently find food your energy levels are so high you can go for a longtime without eating. The thing with mods like in Skyrim is they are never really as good as they could be. There were so many mods that were good that I tried to stack to make the game more realistic and challenging, but eventually they would start conflicting with each other and bugs or crashes would occur. Be patient and let them finish the game so we don't have a bunch of half ass mods attempting to do things they functionally could never achieve.

    Same thing almost happened to me too. I was at the summer camp in the far far NW. Cautiously going through it and only see one zombie, my trumpet shot hit him in the upper chest and he came charging. Next thing I'm getting hit from behind and I start running, but behind every building was another infected and by the end of it I was being chased by a real horde :D I was more lucky than you and got to a house and locked myself in there. Took out a few from the window and then methodically cleared the camp, but I still had to run back to the house 2 more times LOL

    To Eugene and the Devs, I really like 0.55 overall, even with the growing pains that introducing new mechanics bring. Pay no heed to all the clowns saying they are starving or can only find an SKS. If you are starving then you are playing the game wrong or have other problems, and those who are unsatisfied they can only find an SKS are spoiled brats. I was elated when I found an SKS, and I want to be elated finding an SKS. I'm finding the way I approach towns and zombies have completely changed, and for the better. I have noticed the infected are much more silent now. They don't vocalize as much especially during agro, and I don't really hear their footsteps. Is this intentional, a recent bug, or is it only me? To those who are complaining they aren't finding any loot, go look in areas you normally don't go to. I've done fine looking in cars, jeeps, and tan wooden sheds. Also small little clumps of houses off the normal hotspots are good too. If your normal methods aren't working then change, you need to adapt otherwise you'll die.

    Interesting map. I'm guessing the dark red dots are actual spawn locations and the large circles represent an area of operation, meaning (n) number of animals will be present in a giving circle. Am I correct?

    Any suggestions for finding animals. I find cows in some of the normal spots, but not any other animals.

    More than stable, but not more than the last 0.55 build. Some places would have 3-5 geeks, but other places would be completely empty.
