I cobat your statement with a link! I commented on this AMAZING thread about expanding the current "chernarus". I really want trains to be implemented so bad, almost as much as the map expansion. Like in arma wasteland I would mount a but load of mounted M2 machine guns and grenade launchers. :) -
I commented on a really cool thread a few days ago about expansions of the original "Chernarus". It's http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/144348-the-north-expansion-and-south/ Really cool idea I hope post release it is implemented in the form if an update, I was thinking drivable naval vessels would be ¡¡¡AMAZING!!!

Not practical, there would need to be more uses, maybe fixing fuel tanks on cars??!!

First of all, chernarus ( or at the least not map accurate) is not real. the map you find in game is based on a place in the Czech Republic. I think expanding on the "semi fake" current chernarus would be an amazing idea! Definitely a Namalsk type zone up north, and a sothern Utes/Takistan zone accessible by air vehicles or perhaps a new kind of big boat/ship. As someone said some end game loot would be in the Northern Territory, with maybe more of a focus on vehicles like jets/helicopters/aircraft carrier?/and Hum-Vees down south. Maybe farther to the east could be a big ass island like Madagascar. This island could be an NPC outpost/base like in Origins mod. More endgame loot possibly??? (P.S bring the Gauss gun back in the desert map?!?). (P.P.S A but load of oil rigs please) -
So if I die, after like 10 mins or so a zombie will spawn with my bandit skin, if I see him and kill him will I get my gear back? And btw that is a super sweet idea!

The shitty crossbow just ain't cutting it for me, rocket and the dev's are complaining about needing more civilian weapons instead of more elephant guns, why not throw in a recurve or a compound bow found in those stupid wood shacks. A dynamic arrow system (like the bullet drop system in ArmA 2) would really suit the game. And different arrows and bolts do more damage/penetration/blood loss? And like in "the last of us" an arrow in the back would hit harder bone and shatter, although a head or belly shot would seriously injure.

Pretty sweet, I like it, actually ALOT, but if had like a month old survivor would the flashback be like a short film? And the more recordings "triggered" would it become more laggy, and I don't think some people's computers can store all the filf while running a CPU hogging game

The workers are heavily supplied by the coast guard (at least in the US) meaning a but load of food and first aid supplies. If you cleared out all of the worker zombles it would be well rewarding!

I know previously suggested i just want to emphasize this idea, My cousin works on an oil rig and told me they are completely self sufficient, in an oil deposit oil along with natural gas is under pressure, when the oil is being extracted the natural gas that comes with It is burned to produce electricity to run the plant. So in the game a running plant in the ocean isolated as a base (although previously suggested) is an astounding idea! I hope that this is implemented
