this topic is sort of pointless. If you realy dont like people to kill you then play on a server that has no pvp or a private hive, theres plenty of them out there and it doesnt take much effort to find one. Besides that the golden rule in dayz is never to stay attached to your gear! Cheers!

Hello there, Watching the new standalone dev blogs seem to be that the frame rate can hiccup at times, (and guessing that the computer used in the devblog is at a very high standard) this makes me a little worried. Currently in places like elektro or cherno cities my FPS can drop to 10-5 FPS while normally running at about 30. I would hope to see some of the hiccups fixed. But after all, its still VERY early for me to be requesting fixes XD as the game is still in development. But I would like some current FPS fixes in the current dayz mod. Welcome to the good side of playing dayz :D

Today while watching the latest MLG battles, I had a rather silly thought. What if MLG came to DayZ O.O . Maybe its the thought that playing DayZ for money gets me too excited, but a custom map with persay walls around a city like cherno or elektro where everyone spawns in there and fights to the last man standing sounds really really cool to me XD. How do you enter these "survivor Games" I would really like to test my skills :D

-When zombies chase you crouch in pine trees and they will walk away "to crouch use X" -When exploring or doing ANYTHING always crouch walk. Zombies will agro more if your running or standing up. also standing up is a good way to get shot. -Try to stay out of heavy traffic areas, dont do anything risky unless its absolutely needed. -Play in third person more, it expands your viewpoint and can be used as a strategic weapon. -When shooting. Only shoot if your absolutely positive it will be a killing shot. Wasting bullets is a horrible crime. -Try to find friendly players via skype etc etc. Your much more powerfull with another player watching your back. Have fun :D

So on the DayZ server I play on normally the admins had set up a sort of church service at a time in elektro and invited the whole server to come. I knew this was bad chemistry, the whole server was filled with 50 people and i could see in chat death messages of players dieing repidedly. About 15 mins before their "service" started I grabed a m14 and headed out on a ATV to the church When i got their it seemed quiet, Tooo quiet. No Gun Shots. Nothing. I saw the church about 500 meters away and snuck my way around the forest to loop up to it. When i opened the doors i couldnt believe what i saw. Players players players. About 25. All the pews filled! and noone was shooting ANYONE. People were their with full ghillie suits, DMRs, as50s, full machineguns just SITTING THERE!. It was INSANE. the service was pretty funny, they played church music through direct, and had a enjoyable mass this sunday. I think a part of my faith in humanity is restored that nothing went wrong that whole mass. Considering this is a PVP server that encourages me even more. This rare moment in dayZ was enjoyed greatly and will be remembered all the way through standalone. I hope to see more classic dayZ moments restored in the future. Such as bandits not shooting on sight but Holding people up and being honorable as in not shooting new spawns. Ah but i wish too much. Time to get back in the field.

Yep :D VERY surprising, at the end we all just got back in our forms of transportation and drove off.

Would you rather play a game called Day or DayZ? Simple Answer.

To get the bandit skin you need to kill two players i believe. Im pretty sure its just the head wrap atm. On DayZ origins I know that there is levels of bandits with differnt skins.

I recommend Big Tobacco DayZ servers, they host a variety of Dayz Origins, DayZ normal, And other Dayz types with very good and nice admins who dont abuse. Enjoy :D
