I still don't see your point, we are talking about DayZ. Look at the OP, it's all in there. I also find it very hard to believe that the US is the bigger market for a game such at this. Whatever statistics you have read/made up is likely to cover the entire industry and include console/handheld games and such, and is therefore not really applicable to the discussion at hand. Even if you include the whole of the industy, Asia and Europe certainly accounts for more sales than the US does. Remember Japan, eh? Japan and South Korea. And China. There is also another aspect. Dayz got popular because it was something new, something fresh. If it suddenly takes a turn towards fulfilling the market analysts' usual boring wet dreams, it just might lose that appeal. Sure it'll still sell lots, but so does the WARFACE/WARFIGHTER/COD/BATTLEFIELD's of this world. Let's keep DayZ the way it is, with balls. You spineless little slanderer. As long as there are '1st person only' servers as well as mixed servers, I agree. EDIT: I don't agree that they are perfect, but I agree that they work close to as intended.

I wonder how the 'last stand/combined effort' turned into some sort of battle royale, but I see what you mean. I would still prefer more location-appropriate weaponry though, and I'm pretty pleased with the fact that there'll be more civilian weapons and fewer military ones in the standalone.

The '1st person only' server I play on currently has 48 people online. I'm fairly sure the supply of servers will adjust itself according to the demand. I only enjoy playing on '1st person only' servers myself, so that's what I do. Good for me, good for you, good for everybody. There's no harm in other people playing in a different way on different servers. Anyway, the SA wil likely change the whole thing up. It will be interesting to see what happens. I, for one, am worried.
