As long as there are still 1stP only server (the one I play on is almost always full though), there is no problem. We can all get along, we'll just be playing on different servers. All is well and good. The problem is, Rocket seems to have an ambition to make a sort of 'unified servers setting' that we'll all have to play on in the standalone. If this comes to pass it will not end well for anybody, whether they like 1stP or 3rdP. This is evidenced by the way these threads always evolve, and by how 'balancing' suggestions are alwys shot down with mighty fury as fast as they are made. I think we should make it clear to Rocket that we want to be kept separate in the SA as well, it seems to me to be the only way forward.

Nah, let's avoid the impersonal talking PR suits and continue with what we started with: A man and his plan. There is no pvp debate, the guy is crazy! Noone suggested taking pvp out of the game. Ever. Calm. We are not doing this nonsense. The cans were enough.

I don't play for the PvP and I don't think I've been at an airfield since October. The ol' Lee is perfectly fine for me. Unless you are out looking for trouble there is no 'arms race'. That depends on the range the are fighting at, on the skill of the players and on 'who saw who first'. Especially the last one makes the 'arms race' less important for he who sneaks. *Gollum* Wait, who is taking pvp out? Where are you getting this? The mechanics are as always, full pvp.

I like this. The overall amount of military hardware on a server will be reduced, and the people who wants lots of pvp will get more action at the airfields. Good one.
