That's odd. Did the sound ever work for you? I had the no-sound thing happen once, could have been related to me alt-tabbing a lot while loading(I have forums to patroll). After a restart the sound came back though.

Merged. These first got merged into a 3rd/1st person view thread (by way of my fat slippery fingers), now they are living the free life in the wild, together. My bad.

I understand that it's a bit of a bother, but I'm afraid it isn't anybody else's job either. If you really want something done about this, you ought to report it to the GSP's. If you are just venting it is understandable, but it won't change anything.

Cooking & Gathering Resources Target Delivery: Early 2014 This is a system that was not completed prior to the alpha launch so is half-done. Additional work will be done and pushed when we can. This will include gas cookers (already ingame) and the creation of fireplaces. We will be allowing players to gather resources from the world, such as firewood, stones, etc... This will then be utilized by the existing crafting system. ------------------------------------------------------- That's all anyone knows.
