The rules has very recently been updated with this: You can NOT kick players on joining, to loot farm or to prevent other players joiningYou can kick if players are being verbally abusive or abusing ingame bugs to gain an ingame advantage. So kicking players is against the rules, if it is being done to keep the server to yourself/your clan only, or to circumvent the 'no no-KoS' rule.

This is an informative thread, and you have no reason to call anyone here an 'opinionated crack'. There are certain rules for renting a server, those who don't like those rules shouldn't rent. There is nothing more to it.

The point is to survive. This game is not split into PvP and PvE, it's not that kind of game. Other players are part of the environment. And while some people might name a server 'PvE-server', there is really no such animal.

I'm sure you will. Do it without insults, though. You can't play DayZ SA using those games, so I assume you are trying to talk about the mod. Maybe if you posted in the correct area, had a tiny bit of patience and didn't call people cunts, you would get help faster. Moved.

So... Are we supposed to find this mythical server ourselves? Will there be a series of clues, each more fiendishly clever than the last? Why don't you give some details, like the server IP for example? Server name? Is it 1st/3rd or 1st person only? What is the timezone? Has it been modified, or is it vanilla? People will need to know these things, otherwise I'm afraid your post will be for naught. -

I'm willing to bet my beans that there would. The problem with stickying popular ideas is that we'll have to choose which ones get stickied, and that would sort of make those ideas 'better' or 'more official'. We would be in a position of judging community ideas, and that is simply not up to us. I guess we could have a general 'how-to-post-here' topic pinned, but again, nobody reads those. Go check how many views the forum rules has... Oh-noyoudontmate
