If you find it boring, just stop playing. Go play some other games for a couple of weeks/months, then come back and see how far along DayZ has come. There is no way it is going to be developed any faster just because you really, really want it. Things take time.

As long as the devs consider it an exploit, we can't let you post scripts that enables it on these forums. Those are the instructions I've been given, untill they change I'll have to make those scripts go away. We moderate according to a set of rules and guidelines, not our own whims (despite what some people will tell you). I'd also really appreciate it if you took matters of moderation to PM next time you have an issue, doing it here drags the topic off-topic. -

Nah. You have to look where you are running, otherwise you'll get stuck/fall off/get shot/get eaten. -

Fixed. It is not 'teleporting', it is not 'botting'. It doesn't give you any advantages. It lets you give your middle finger a little rest. -

Merged. Full controller support might be something you have to wait for. It is not likely to get a lot of work when the game itself is still far from feature complete.

When deployed, it also gets in the way when trying to look over your shoulder. Not that much maybe, but it bothers me enough to fold it in.

It would work just fine, depending on your intention. It wouldn't work for pointing your guy north, then go make a sandwich, then come back and be where you wanted to be. That wouldn't be the purpose either. What it would work for, is giving my naughty finger some well deserved rest while I control direction with the other hand and pay close attention to my surroundings. It wouldn't make anything any less 'realistic', unless you run with your 3rd finger in real life. -

Localization will come but it might be a little while away. A bunch of languages is planned, russian of course amongst them.

Listen you. If you are referring to McG2, he was banned for breaking forum rules, multiple times, despite being warned about it, multiple times. It has absolutely nothing to do with my opinion. We have a set of rules and guidelines, we follow those. We also do our moderating openly, nothing disappears but ads, spam, exploits, illegal stuff and cross/double posts. If you have any further to say to/about the forum team, you are welcome to PM Boneboys or even myself. But you will stop posting about it here, and stay on topic. Topic is 'auto-run key', the OP wants to know why it isn't there. Proceed.
