That's no reason not to use the tools we do have at our disposal. A kick is quick and easy. I am used to that. That does not mean I have to welcome it. Removing them from a server, or the forums as the case may be, means we don't have to pay attention to them at all. It gets them less attention. Not more.

Some people are saying the same in this thread, in case you didn't notice. Still, what they think about the issue has no effect on the actual rules.

This again? You can kick people for being abusive/harassment, I'm pretty sure pedophilia-related playernames would fall under this, as well as racist ones. It's not fine. Not if he did it without breaking the hosting rules.

If only it worked on spambots... I don't think 'getting kicked off the server they want to play on' is "exactly what they want". Yes he can, he can kick them off his server. It's the best I can come up with off the top of my head. You are allowed to kick for racist names you know, it's in the server rules. I think 'treating other people with decency and respect' is something all people should strive for.

You can easily be 'part of the game' without being part of the forums, most DayZ players are in fact. I am, if I may say so myself, fairly welcoming towards those who do want to be part of these forums though, and I also didn't insult you in any way. Please understand that by refusing to use the forums the same way as others have to, and also refusing to read up on the local rules and etiquette a little, you are showing a great deal of disrespect to the rest of us. -

Most members here never get a topic locked. This is because they read the forum rules, they read the stickies and they post in the correct area. Sometimes they even use the search function/Google before posting questions. Please be a bit more like them. Moved to 'New Player Discussion'. -

Some nice info in there, thanks for collecting it. EDIT: 70 people working on it, eh? Still hiring, eh? The 'what-you-do-with-the-800-million-dollars??!' rant threads should, by my estimate, drop by about 50% following this topic. Knowing people, my estimate is very likely wrong.
