Don't tell people how to crash a server please, you are just making the problem worse. EDIT: It turns out Accolyte is some sort of ninja. At least when it comes to typing, the ancient ninja skill.

Here is a DayZ mod server that I know of: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/185847-dayz-europa-true-vanilla-dayz-server/ Try searching for its name (DayZ Europa) in the server browser, or remote connect directly to it using its IP and port numbers (88.150.214.210 and 2402).

They entire day? It's been the entire night in Czech Republic, where the Bohemia studios are. You don't expect them to get your character unstuck at night, do you? Have a little patience, your problem will be fixed ifyou followed the steps in the post I linked you. -

Epoch/Overpoch is not DayZ Mod. Try logging in to a proper mod server, it should work fine. I can't help you with those other mods, but you'll need to download something for them to work.

As far as I am concerned, yes indeed. It completely ruins the 'survival game' idea, and turns it into... Something else. Something that was not intended. Like this: I prefer Chernarus cold, scary and dangerous, without magic phone booth time machines.- 54 replies

In time you might be able to host DayZ SA on it, but at this moment in time it isn't possible. You could make a DayZ mod server though, if you can't wait.

There aren't vehicles in the standalone yet, they are currently being worked upon. Keep an eye on the weekly status reports, that's where you'll see the news first.

If you want to play the DayZ Mod you need to download and launch it through Steam. Moved to DayZ Mod troubleshooting.

Your best bet is to stop renting a server for a game that is still in development. If you think there is a 'FIX IT' button in the developer tool, an unfinished game might not be for you. Locked.
