Do you think you could possibly disagree with somebody without feeling the need to fling pointless, childish insults their way? I wouldn't mind having the chance to take some strain off my middle finger, that dosn't mean I'm a child, a server hopper, that I go afk or that I post ranty moan thread on the forums if I get killed. Seriously Grapefruit, that is simply no way to behave. If you can't discuss this in a little more mature manner, then please don't. -

Servers that aren't connected to the main hive, but runs on a separate database. Hosters are allowed to set rules for these, password them and run a whitelist. Artificial Intelligence.

The 'zombies' in DayZ are of the 'infected' type, like in 28 Days Later. They are not dead. As for increasing the numbers, it will happen when the servers are able to handle the load.

You should read the weekly reports and other dev updates, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. Persistent items are currently being implemented in DayZ, they will carry over after a server restart. Persistent item servers have been up for a while, but I'm not sure how well it is working at the moment. EDIT: Have you really not seen the 'Persistence: ON' servers in your server browser?

You saw it get locked, then went and made another one? Don't do that, please. Hacking: If you believe you have found evidence of an unknown hack, submit the evidence to one of the Forum Staff and it will be looked into and verified. Posting a topic will result in it being locked. Everyone is aware of the issues, the developers too. It is being worked upon. Proper reporting of issues is helpful, spamming is not.

Well... Lady Luck is a fickle mistress. But she does bring all the boys to the yard. Sad about the totlly pristine gun, it would have been so sweet. There'll other ones and other people who will shoot you for them (it wasn't me! I was shitposting at the time, honest!).

Beacuse things take time to fix. It's an arms race with the cheaters, like in every other multiplayer game. It is clear that you didn't make this thread to ask about a wipe, but instead to discuss different sorts of hacks/cheats in an agitated manner. We don't need that. Topic closed. -

No pics, please. As for the OP: Whatever issues exist at the moment, they are being worked upon. This might be an interesting read for you: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/212882-reddit-rocket2guns-on-security/ That said, there is no reason to share methods of cheating with anyone but the devs, and it isn't allowed to do so on these forums. If you, or anyone else, think they have information on a hitherto unknown hack/cheat, please report it to the forum team. It is highly likely that it will already be known, as described in the linked dev post. -
