    Thousands upon thousands of people are raving about this mod and no one else complains about constantly dying to a bag. Does that not make you think? You are like someone complaining that the pool sucks because you can't swim. Are you really not embarrassed? I would certainly be, if I were to flaunt my ignorance in public like that.

    It is, it is abso-bloody-lutely excellent! It differs from the usual RTT mold by having engagements at more realistic distances, no tanks sitting on top of each other here, no sir. Also, no vehicle 'health bars', every shot and impact is traced and calculated in the engine. It's a nerds paradise! Kinda like ArmA in its way, actually.

    This really belongs in off-topic, but anyway: I was playing 'Achtung Panzer: Operation Star' when DayZ popped up on my radar, and sometimes I wish Rocket would release an absolutely gamebreaking patch so I would be forced to go back. That game is absolutely amazing, but I just can't tear myself off of this one at the moment. I can warmly recommend APOS though if you have any interest in tactical battles and strategic campaigns.

    I don't think there would be much of a future for DayZ in arma 3 if he quit now. Do not fret though I hear he is off planning the real world zombie apocalypse. It was the only way to stop DC'ing. Talk about immersion. I don't even know if you guys are joking anymore. Should I grab my fishtank and run? Where is this apocalypse starting? I don't even have a Makarov.

    I think so. I'm thinking ROF= Rate of Fire Or Semi-auto/burst/auto EDIT: I get what you are saying now, it is not actually the rate of fire, but we know what he means. No worries there.     About the corpses, I think it is because of DC'ing. One time in Rog Castle, I check that I'm alone then loot the keep. I hear nothing, no gunshot, no anything while in there. When I come out, there's the sound of flies + a backpack right outside, but no corpse. Very strange. I think it was someone who wussed out on another server, then came to die on mine.

    You joined to post that? Well done dustinclark, well done. It's not true by the way, you can easily sneak within a few meters of them. Thing is, they have eyes now. Sneak behind them, not in front of them.

    Would you honestly not mind being frozen in place/doing an animation for 20 or so seconds near barracks? I would. It would also work great against teleporting.

    Or as an alternative, add a 20 second logout timer and a 20 second login freeze. That would accomplish the same thing, it would stop disconnectors and server hoppers. Where's the flaw?
