It hasn't been a month yet... I miss the flies from player corpses though, they combined the sweet expectation of loot with the cold, clammy fear that someone was looking at your neck through his scope. I liked that. -

Hello! They aren't dead, they are living human being suffering from a 'rage virus', like in '28 Days Later'. In the bottom left corner of the forums, very bottom, there's a 'Change Theme' button. You can set it to a nice white and blue skin, which is what I use. It's a lot better in my opinion. EDIT: Oh, the zombies. They are a work in progress, Things will improve over time like they have in the past. -
I have an Athlon II X2 250 cpu and a hd5770 gpu, I'm not rich. I have more than 4 fps in cities though, so you could say I'm fairly affluent in frames. But still, it is choppy. Luckily, the game is early in production and has not yet been optimised for performance. All we have to do is wait.

What on earth are you talking about?? Look at the 'recent topics' list, there are several topics right now, open and runing, that basically says nothing but '.55 is bad, you broke the game'. We also happen to have an actual discussion topic for the patch, but some people like to 'be seen' more, especially those who claim their opinion is The Truthtm.

Your pc is fine, what you need is patience. DayZ is early in development and has not been optimised yet, it will run slower than you'd like on pretty much any system. There is no reason in upgrading cpu and mobo to fit a game that is still in the alpha stage. Save your moneys for later, they'll come to better use then.

Same way you turned it on, but opposite. Really, without even knowing which operating system you use, it is hard to tell. This is one of those things where a google search would help you more than a forum question. -

The actual Chernarus map? That's the one we are playing. It's changing over time, but I doubt it will end up being surrounded by impasssable black mountains.

Try running Steam/DayZ as administrator, that might help.

Do not use DayZCommander, it is no longer supported, it doesn't work and it will give you problems. It will make you pull your hair out even more, then it will make you come back here and make a topic to ask why DayZCommander doesn't work. This is how to play the mod: 1. Install A2, launch it and quit 2. Install OA, launch it and quit 3. Install DayZMod, launch it and play 4. That's it

It could be that, or maybe the vcredist needs reinstalling. But if you tried literally everything, then you did that as well.

Until the devs change their stance on the matter, which I hope they will at some point, there is to be no posting of autorun macros/code/magic spells on the forum. Sorry, but them's the breaks. If you want to discuss the seeming lack of an autorun function, Iplease carry on in the 'autorun topic'.
