It's not supposed to be fair, it's the goddamn apocalypse. If you want to play a balanced shooter, there are other games that does it better. Why did you think DayZ got so much hype? It was the stories people were telling, the experiences they had in this unusually harsh world. Tales of friendship and betrayal, tales of death and of surviving by the skin of their teeth. It was the fact that it was different. Let's keep it like that. And stop cheating, you. EDIT: If I may change the chess analogy around a little bit... It's like if you were playing chess with someone and you didn't like having bishops in the game, but the other guy was using his bishops anyway. I mean, such cheek! The nerve! Playing by the rules as agreed upon! -

It's not that extravagant to expect people not to use hacks and exploits. I don't kill other players by the way, I don't know why you would assume so. -

If you don't want to risk fighting players, how about you play a single player game? They do exist. DC'ing is an exploit, it's no better than spawning jets or teleporting. -

It is indeed dreadful, a hundred and two questions and growing! Rocket is aware of it though, I saw him nosing around in here the other day. I guess he is still busy with the patch but I hope he is taking a break. No reason to get burned out, DayZ will do just fine. Funny thing, I had a bunch of questions myself but every time I sit down at the computer they disappear from my mind. EDIT: I see you are up to three pages on the russian side already. Anything good, or is it more "Why do you not fix hacking" questions? -

Added. The hacking problem exist because of the arma engine and the fact that it allows you to inject scripts. In a standalone he can avoid this function. Rocket has stated this a few times already, you can find all his posts on his profile. Is it not already? I know there are servers with side chat enabled, they must have toggled it somehow. Also, check the answer to question #13. -

Listen guy. Treating people with opinions differing from yours in such a way does not make you look any wiser, make you appear any more masculine or whatever you are trying to achieve by hurling insults. It does not reinforce your position in any way. It makes you irrelevant to the discussion.

Everyone, or everyone but you? Some people complain too much, including yourself. You had to make yet another thread in which you sob, moan, snivel, wail, whimper and cry to make yourself look like a 'hardcore pvp badass'. It's pathetic, it's counter productive and it doesn't work. EDIT: I think there are more threads complaining about complainers, than there are threads complaining about the game.

I've had a bad food poisoning in real life. I'm not going to tell you how much I shat and puked, or how violent and projectile-like, because this is such a nice forum. But I can assure you, my hunger meter did not go up. My aim would most likely have been off though, as I spend most of a week rolled up in the fetal position with a white hot ball of pain in my intestines. -

The stuff in an epi-pen is adrenaline, it takes years for it to go bad. I also have a hard time imagining a gun that would fire them. I would like to see the medicine mechanics expanded though, maybe more antibiotics spawns along with more uses for it? -

Added. There's already a question about non-lethal weapons (#33 by RastaKoueR). Your 'snakes-in-backpack' question is more of a suggestion really, is it not? You could make a thread about it in the suggestion forum, I'm sure everybody would be absolutely thrilled if Rocket decided to spend his coding time putting 5-10 different snakes into the game. Very good idea. I've added this under your name: Q: Any plans to add poison to the game? [Hedon] Please let me know if you are dissatisfied with this.
