Is there a way to check my account's stats? Like how many zombie I killed, am I good or bad, my average life?

So I finally got a good system down for getting start but I have these issues. 1. I either find lots of car parts or soda/bandages 2. I cant find morphine or food 3. Should i just head north from the start or what? Thank you for any help.

Right now I dont have a weapon lol. Besides that im trying to avoid being a bandit.

I made it to a military installation by the coast and just as I make it up to the tower 3 other players run threw grabbing everything and leaving. :( I wanted to cut myself...

I try to hit them with the axe as they're running up to me but sometimes it seems like it is a miss or I need to hit them 2 times. I am getting better. My last play would have been 4+ hours of survival but the indicators glitched and I had no idea I was bleeding until my vision started to go blurry.

I just want to get a good grip on this. Reason I want morphine is I find zombies breaking my bones in one hit

Yeah, it really comes down to personal pref and resolution in most games. I run Arma 2 on all normal settings with normal FX setting and have the view distance at 3000. IMO ideal settings for the average pc when it comes to Arma 2 is low/normal settings in 720P with a far view distance.

You don't need an aftermarket cpu heatsink for this build as the i5 and motherboard in this build doesn't allow for OCing.

Before anyone suggests a computer we need to know your budget. With that said I highly recommend building your own computer. You'll get much more performance per dollar. Building your own isn't as hard as it sounds.

Thats one thing I love about Arma2. Arma2 gets bullets right. No more of that CoD BS where a 9mm round from a sidearm goes over 200m with no drop off.

I just downloaded and install arma 2 and the OA expansion with the OA beta version. I open all three up and allowed battle eye to install each time. I just finished downloading dayZ off of steam. After I install it what do I need to do to finish it so I can play?

I figured it out. I thought remove from whatever command would delete the item but it places it in my hands. Now to figure out how to cook raw meat as I can't eat it raw and to stop getting broken bones from zombies. :) :) :)

I still don't know what I'm doing wrong. I placed everything in the backpack that I got when I started on the server. When I click the right arrow in my backpack to equip the axe it goes into the lower part of my inventory on the ride side but I can't get it to equip as a weapon or drawl it out. Same with sidearm.

The server I joined started me with a sidearm and an axe. I tried switching weapons but that button didn't seem to work. Will try it again. Thank you so much for your help.

Okay, I got into a game with the commander software. Here is my new problem. I looked over the commands but I can't change, use my weapon.

Okay, I can't find these expansion packs that have the word lite after them. Like the british armed forces lite pack.

If this has already been made please disregard. I did not find a thread like this. I was thinking it might be a good idea to make a sticky thread that list various pc builds and what FPS that build will do. Also at the top of the thread a Q&A about if this game does Sli/Crossfire. Maybe like this format: PC Build: CPU: GPU: RAM: Settings: low: xxxFPS mid: xxxFPS High: xxxFPS

I'm still waiting for Arma2 package to download and install so IDK if this is already in the game but.... It would be cool if everything that moves in the game left a trail. The trail would be more pronounced and last longer based on the speed, weight, size of the object. (players, zombies, vehicles)

I think one issue here is the demand increase on your PC. If the SA is way more CPU friendly than this won't be an issue. I'd love to see Nvidia be utilize in teh SA.

So I am about to download Arma 2 complete package so I can play this mod but then someone pointed me to warZ and this person named Sergey and kwik is saying this is the wrong mod and I should download warZ. So which one is it? Arma 2 or dayZ that I need to play this mod?
