    naa.. needs a bit more thought i think.. I think something simple like a arm band or something... I'm guessing you havent tried using Teamspeak or direct chat ? you talk to your freinds in the game this is how you keep up to date on whats happening to them :D Alot of the latest threads I'm seeing are by new guys with little to no posts suggesting ideas to make the game.. well.. ALOT easier and the same shit we are all use to... we need this game to not stray to far from the unique gem that it is ! :D

    SA Single Player Scenarios

    There actually some new DLC for that walking dead game called " 400 DAYs" and its 5 random sub stories that you pick of a notice board of "missing family members" and they are very short... its actually a pretty cool and exciting idea to play with i think considering they are only small scenarios that pit you in the shoes of some random character dealing with problem X and dramatic characters a,b, and c... something like this i think would be a good idea.. with the ideas or " stories" being short and sweet there is alot in the way of different ideas and scenarios to play around with and keep it fresh rather than the campaign idea like the pony girl said

Although i would like to see a few of those dead island elements like manipulating power boxes to get power to a small building etc or life a gate

    wow man absolutely awesome skills you have son...they may be primitive objects but well done ! very nice textures too ! I can model and texture myself with 3dsmax and PS, you are making want to get into making some 3d models for dayz.. I'm totally to busy trying to make short films and study atm though.. oh and fitting in some DayZ here and there still ^_^ keep it up ! ps how long have you been a digital artist for >?

    Why would you assume he only means one use for the duct tape ? Of course there should be several uses i think this chap is suggesting ANOTHER use maybe ?. And what the hell at fixing fuel tanks with duct tape that's the worse duct tape idea ive heard :P hahaa Anyway, how about like in the Dark Knight movie at the start where the joker and the robber rob that bank and bound peoples hands together and then make them hold on to a grenade with no pin :D

    Heroes and Bandits...

    No way. I feel your pain but I'm guessing the original poster is new to the game... The skin is merely variation of something to look at... Try not to think of it as actual "bandits or heroes" because you are right somewhat in saying bandit skins stick with the hero skinned players sometime.. So just dont have any faith in any one at all ever and you should be fine (unless you are super desperate :P) Just Dont Trust Anyone At ALL EVER !
  11. Toilet Water. Use toilet water to put in canteen(concealed) to give to someone as a friendly gesture to drink making them nauseous. Simple. (In turn perhaps this could do something to make it easier to rob said nauseous person(s) Maybe making them so sick that the char model has to drop and do a vomit animation and thats when you could strike the player for his goods.. seedy yes. Leave behind for someone to find if you feel like being a prick. Toilet Water would be usefull obviously for the purification tablets. The Dilemma. A seasoned veteran would... well in fact most normal people would surely smell the contents of a liquid from a bottle that they couldn't see and were considering to consume ? Hmm.. what do you think Maybe a tad of a gimmick but I think it should be introduced simply because of how basic the idea is.

    Well Michael I have a pretty good feeling you may be close to what they are already implementing.. well maybe atleast not to far off :D I'm also thinking perhaps being able to craft a poison aswell.. with say 3/4 ingredients maybe.. I'd say only 1 recipe with 1 ingredient that is perhaps very hard to get to make this, once again... non-OP

    Yes, but I think the option should just be there because " IT CAN OR COULD HAPPEN" not because we deem it not worthy of the game.. it just should be there because its not impossible to do.. poisoning people... If it makes you happy it can be really hard to do :P ... it could be considered a luxury to poison something/someone.. it would be a rare circumstance of cause.. i find it funny how most (i dont mean you mike but others) people always think that when suggested idea is suggested that it is always mentioned to be intended as overpowered idea..not this one with the right measurements and cautious handling of implementation I believe it would have to be in the game somewhere...

    Indeed.. the basic idea of poisoning someone is what i want to see then making it easy to rob someone. tahts it really.. I understand the over complicated thing but like i said above as long as the nausea is in the game why the hell not

    Thats ok, I dare say i forgot to put you could perhaps contaminate it yourself. Regardless, from what you guys are saying maybe you could atleast use it as drinking water then. So how far is it after the infection.. im sure some toilets would have water for months Well guys I guess maybe I was to specific..FORGET THE TOILET WATER ... how about say if you can receive nausea in the SA you can poison food/drink to make someone sick and it takes x amount of time to work.. maybe its hard to do.. the whole idea is if you can get nauseous in the first place..

    I posted a while back about how i would really like to see better screams in dayz .People left behind that got cut off from there freinds being eaten by infected. The same as Hearing gunshots in the distance it would be awesome to hear the gruesome random scream of a man or a woman every so often would just be soOoo soo good for atmosphere it doesnt come across as something that would be difficult to implement ?? but hopefully we will see this in the standalone with dog howles ^_^

    I also thought an awesome random spawn idea of small sheds/domicile/cabin out in the deepest parts of the forest.. this would probably be a hard idea.. but imagine being out in the forest and the sun is going down fast, you hear dogs howling in the distant and its getting cold quick and starting to rain.. all you have is half a useless map, hammer, a single flare and half a snack bar you found at a petrol station then you stumble upon a small tool shed...there doesn't seem to be a house around at all ? .. the shed is rustic and old... you enter and find some matches and fire wood but no axe.. its not much but at least its something and somewhere with a roof to hold up the night.. you think to yourself you are very deep in the forest and making a fire hopefully wont matter..?

    The pony is being silly.. look at its avatar ^_^ I have always wanted them to implement the idea you explained about the easter egg rare items.. that idea is super exciting and one I'm passionate about.. I thought the exact same thing you explained of how the additions of uber rare items such as these should never be labeled in the log update. I really hope they do this and you know what i bet they will to some extent. Also the paranormal activity - same again.. I've had a similar idea like yours but mine was a single player in a town has super rare chance of triggering a "ghost" that slowly walks or something.. now the thing is that only 1 player can spawn the "ghost" event and 1 only.. (and it would have to be in one of the smaller towns i dare say) now the idea of only 1 player being able to trigger the event as oppose to more than 1 is to keep the situation a subtle numbing experience.. the kind of thing that the player who had the shit scared out of them will tell their freinds.. and they wont believe them.. because no 1 else was there 2 see it. I can see how soo many people dont want "super natural" themes in dayz but if its uber rare i say why not.. and to those people I say the 1 single experience alone would be would be well worth it and that aint no shit neither ^_^

    Gun maintenence.

    As long as the weapon takes a long time before it starts to show the early signs of wear n tear and not as fast as fallouts weapons degrade system HA. I guess it would be nice if it was to reach detail the level of "environment sensitive" - e.g - If you hang out in the swamps alot playing a harmonica your weapons would get dirty fast/ + higher % failure rate depending on depth of the marsh to player oppose to forest dweller blah blah you get my drift. harmonica now theres an idea aswell... (im sure its been mentioned somewhere at sometime ^_^)
