Ok, pretty simple really.. drawing on maps with pens..to mark locations or places not to return to cause it was SCARY. Even if people want to draw dicks on the maps I'm sure it wont really matter, I mean better to have dicks on maps than on walls in game. Anyway.. If we are paranoid about dicks on maps it could just be made to be text, circles and X's can be the only thing marked on maps.. seems pretty logical and legit

its not a stupid question or post :D It's very valid infact.. but yes I'm sure all those logical things will eventually happen.. like using a scope as a telescope and things like that.. binoculars aren't far away I'm a biased fan of this game and it wont be far I promise my son -
Well I'm not sure if it would or should be local side considering the nature of what DayZ is about.. I mean if someone gets your map cause you died its not like you planned to be killed and thats the risk you run marking stuff on your map..therefor I'd think it should be a global thing and I would say thats how they would implement it.. even then when you mark stuff on a map with something simple like an X or a circle its not as if you are going to intensionally indicate what it is you have marked (especially with text).. e.g a camp or your stash of meds etc

Indeed when the zombies come should change everything.. people less bored and maybe not as much KoS and focusing more on teaming up etc... You wont be able to enter a cherno with anything less than an armed team with alot of ammo i cant wait to see how wild thats going to be :D -

Me too, I dont want to exhaust the awesomness especially before its anywhere near its potential.. i think ive played about 15 hrs all up, just wanted to explore some of the map and wow they have really gone through it with a fine tooth comb and really given the map so much more character than previous.. -

I'm happy with the way it is but maybe som,ething better to indicate blood but no SCREEN CLUTTER when there is no inv screen up !! The one thing I love about it is theres nothing on your screen thats the best way to be immeresed into any game world -

I'm bit of a PC elitist, usually i dont want games I love (which isnt many) to go to the console peasents just out of spite but I think Dayz sa should be spread as far and wide as possible so that console gamers can see this awesomeness and understand you dont needall those bullshit indicators on your screen that most games do, telling you whats happening in game to have a super good time. If theres a will theres a way.. I'm sure they would work that out with relative ease to be honest -

I'm purposely trying to not play heaps so i dont find everything in the game before its released.. I just want zombies cause after they are added everything will change and exploring the world and finding the items will and should be alot more difficult... just so there still some magic left.. But anyway.. how many items do you think you have found in total devildog ? i mean unique seperate items ? -

Oooh the ship ! I remember hearing about this a while ago while sa was in development.. glad to see its in ! I've stopped playing the game till zombies are added properly so i dont discover all the awesome locations on the map before the game is somewhat legit and earn the right to see them the way they were meant to be visited :D ZUMBIES
