I have not seen a crash site since .62 and even back then they were not spawning anything exciting. Can anyone else drop a comment on what you have found at a crashsite of recent that would be considered to be worthy ?

Yes indeed, on pc, alot of the hair of the character glitches through alot of headwear etc. I find it pretty immersion breaking especially in a crew. You could set the character you exactly wanted before spawning but its not working atm. I havent done this my self (respawn til i get certain char) yet but i always consider respawning until i get a bald character but i havent died in the last 2 weeks so no need to yet :D I can tell you now it will be fixed one day but who knows when.

The AI tends to not spawn inside buildings but they can wonder in if the doors are open (Aswell as players locking them inside) Other than that i see you guys are somewhat new here and there has been something of a problem since dayz birth with monsters glitching through doors and walls. However, this issue seems to be alot better these days then it use to be. I have played 50 hrs the past month or so and i havent seen it happen but it still goes on. There use to be a time when no door was safe. Heh. ANYWAY, I made this video after some interesting wolf action I had at Gvozdno. I spawned in and started recording and 2 wolves attacked the house I was at without me triggering them. There is a distant howl but I added that effect in so they must have already been in the area. As you watch on I keep playing and finding alot of action in the town with zombies wolves and a cow.

Well i dont know what server you play on but im guessing its public. The thing is also. With modding tools etc alot of people are catering there servers towards the types of elements you explain. Or atleast pvp fest -no stamina + uber loot. This is why most people who have played dayz for a while, know and want a good experience in dayz, will play on a private hive. No server swapping. No bullshit and should always be 1pp. unlike what you have experienced here. It its better to just find your slice of dayz (private hive that fits you) You need to play on a hardcore server. 1st person perspective is how dayz should be in my oppinion. I feel so much safer on 1pp servers. I'm currently on dayzdownunder - whitelisted community server and its been pretty damn great. Try to get onto a whitelis server also

I think there is alot of mystery surrounding what alot of the medication and pills do. I have sooo many questions i thought about starting a new thread. Does the alc tincture even matter to use ? or just to repair the rags to higher level ? If multi vitamins are usefull against colds, is there a rule to how often you should eat them ? once a day ? whats the percentage buff ? ? i mean what pills do what anyway ? i dont even see any sickness.. i think you can catch a cold and get cholera maybe. What are Tetracycline Pills used for ? it states on the izurvive wiki "Broad spectrum antibiotics. Used to treat bacterial infectious diseases. Not effective against viruses." So are they for infections that are not in the game yet ? What about disinfectant spray ? Does that do anything yet ? I would imagine it should be used for something like sterilizing a knife after attacking a zombie before you cut meat to cook and eat. Why is there 2 different bandages on the wiki ? Is there a difference ? One contains disifectant maybe ?

I do agree but i think you will only find this style of gameplay on community server or something like that. I think its going to be up to server owners to tweak such options to make the desired difficulty of food being alot more to have to worry about.

Hello, I started this thread for a place to discuss what kind of servers people would most like to play on and see. The reason being is i just dont see many community servers that seem to acquire to very many tastes (of late). Alot of servers are "3xLOOT | NO STAMINA" with little or no hardcore servers at all. Now before someone posts "get your own server" this thread isnt quite about that. It's more so about giving the community an idea of what we would be interested to see. Now from what i can tell most public servers are real time with day and night which is rediculous considering its pretty much every server from what i can see. Does anyone know what happen to the 1pp servers ? I thought they were coming back ? There just does not seem to be many community hardcore servers atm. What i mean by this is the DayZ hardcore survival experience i think alot of us want too see. Standard loot distribution. 1pp Only. Bad weather conditions. The kind environment where Basic items still feel important and where you have to plan ahead for night time if you dont have warm clothes or items to start a fire. From what i can tell the weather realy isnt an issue at all unless you are stuck in the rain. There does not seem to be many servers (or if there is they are hard to find) that have a good day night ratio. I'm thing something like this. 2-3 hrs day - half hr dusk - 1-1.5 hrs night - half hr dawn. Also lets not forget all the fantastic workshop dayz mod items we now have available aswell to custom a server into something trully special. Perhaps I'm not seeing many hardcore servers because persistence is broken ? So if anyone can recommend any hardcore servers that they know of please list them here (especially Australian servers :D) DayZ downunder is probably one of the best examples of roleplay server im not sure if they are 1pp mode i think 1 of them might be So please speak up with your ideas !

After all these years and we have a system where your char sits down for 15 secs. It should be atleast 30-45 or more. Even then, you can watch your char sit there until you finaly dissapear from a server so i dont see the problem with extended time to log out.

Hello IMT, I'm super interested to play on a winter map server but did you find the weather conditions are actually worse and working properly ? Is the cold a big deal or does it feel as though there is still alot of tweaking ? Are there blizzards etc ?

Old schoolers of dayz have always wanted to see molotovs. We have come this far with no mention of mollies these past years(to my knowledge) so i think its going to be up to some rad modder dude from the community. Where art thou mollie creator, you are out there somewhere. (kissess in advance) Bottle + rag + petrol + matches :D The arma games always had destructable buildings but im not sure about dayz. You use to be able to blow up petrol stations but me and some freinds tried a while ago and it would not work The lighting has def been fixed. Light leaks (at night) through buildings and building geometry has been fixed atleast. One thing i dont think we will see is darkness inside buildings during the day etc. I wish i saved the post but someone had a link i read on a thread not so long ago that stated they(devs) didnt want to bother changing the darkness, "atmosphere" in side buildings which is rather sad. On a dark stormy day buildings interiors should be creepy and darker. Oh well at least theres no gamma slider and light sources and night vision has a high value and purpose now. I think alot of us had been waiting a long arse time for something like this that should be considered so standard for games and DayZ in general :D
