Ever other game has skill points that is what makes dayz unique.. there is a load of info on this already.. NO SKILLS ..u learn skills through experience yourself in game ^_^ As for professions I dare say as close to that as you can get is maybe different out fits like a business suit, priest out fit or fuel station attendent but the rest is up to you and if you want to role play or not

There should definitely be more accessible churches through out the map. I have thought alot about this topic and would like to see a church that could fortify front doors and say you could climb the bell tower from inside and have access to the roof.. and with imaginary crafted(or not) ladder you could help other players gain access to the roof from ground for safety into church. I CAN DREAM ! -

hell yeah.. i always thought the amnesia item and especially the door physics would be too great in dayz !

I have always thought DayZ to almost feel like 2 different games comparing day to night which I think is awesome, more so the mod i mean Night time should have a huge emphasis but I guess untill that happens the 24/7 day light servers arent all bad ;)

yeaah not a bad idea but I think its a bit much for dayz... id be happy with say less athlete physic looking players and alot more faces to choose from

As your DayZ career flourishes Domino, you will understand why we are all against the name tags. Even with a separate group manager app like you suggested. Having awareness of your people and surroundings should not be nerf'd for any reason.. Maybe something more like an arm band from rags.. maybe one day the colour of rags could actually correspond to the colour of clothing that you tear up. Until then, items of clothing and different head wear is what we have for now to distinguish between who is in your crew and who isnt. To be honest everyone looks pretty unique anyway due to the clothing so remembering what your friends are wearing shouldn't be to much of an issue, a name tag is kinda lazy :P

hahaa! thats what I thought.. just kinda explains a scenario with the grapp hook in it ? ^_^ I dont see why we couldnt have a uber rare grappling hook.. Maybe it could also be hard to master to add more depth

I think about this topic alot..locking doors and barricading.. And I think you have broke it down and explained it well because the system could be quite interesting.. no door should be completely impenetrable. Every one should be vulnerable to a degree of damage depending on what tier the door is considered to be + what instrument is being used to penetrate the door
