One of the Biggest problem with DayZ

There's a slight (actually pretty high) possibility that you get KO'ed when over 9K blood. I've had that happen a lot.

    Dayz standalone 15 euros

The interviewer doesn't have much experience, lots of "thinking", no accurate questions, some random chatter... Still, for 15€ the game is pretty good. I'm definitely buying it.
  3. Well, they DO add some immersion, but I could go with this as a TEMPORARY fix, as in, once the matter is pinned and solved, add the bodies back.

Zombies are running like us now?

This was actually my first thought.

Zombies are running like us now?

I joined a server through six launcher, and the server tag says it's running 1.7.2.4, so I don't think I'm at 7.5. Also, no more zig-zagging :D
  6. I just logged into a server and the runner zombies are now running as we do, at the same speed when we double tap. Is this a bug? Is it intended? O.o I like it, combined with good awareness of the zeds I think it actually balances them.

    dayzmod.com - Aug 2012 - Q&A with Rocket

Q: Is there any possibility, even if remote, to have DayZ in the other maps? I'd love to see a Zombie Survival in Takistan.

I felt so much remorse about my last kill >.>

Hehe, I had a guy chase me with an axe once. I shot his leg and started VOIP'ing "You're gonna die, MF, you're gonna die, i'm gonna put a bullet in your head!!" He stood on the ground helplessly, rolling around until I shot him and ended his life.
  9. So yeah. I'm generally a friendly player, though lately I've been taking the bandit side. To Experience the whole game. [Enter Character, real story with a bit of drama into it] I've already killed dozens of players in cold blood. Never thought about it, and when I did, I savored their loot afterwards, thinking it was a good kill. This night though, I was stalking 2 players in Elektro. One named Ronnie and another named Sm4Cks. I stalked them for about 45 minutes, watching them move, letting them think they were safe. I even acted like a guardian angel when a horde of zombies stalked them. I killed most of them, but they ran thinking I was a bandit. Since I have NVG's, I could see them perfectly in the dark of night. One of them even had a chemlight, making him a goshdarned beacon in the middle of everywhere. I followed them outside of Elektro to the North-West, until Pik Kozlova or whatever that mountain's called. I lagged behind a bit but still managed to catch on, and with that chemlight brightening one of them, it was an easy stalk. They eventually stopped thinking they were safe, and I was around 80 meters from them. They split, one to the left and another to the right. I thought they had seen me, so I decided to kill one of them. Lately, instead of KOS'ing, I give my prey a chance at life by simply demanding them to drop their weapon while I take some of their supplies. I noticed this Sm4Cks dude was simply there, standing still while looking around. I put myself 30 meters away from him and type in Direct Comm so I don't expose my general location. "Don't move, drop your weapon and go prone." That's what I type. The dude seemed to follow the freeze and prone rule, but he doesn't drop his revolver. For a few seconds he stands there, and I quickly look at my back to see if I am getting flanked or not. I don't see the other dude, so I proceed to continue with my ambush. Once I look to him, he gets back up and says through VOIP "Ronnie, where are you? Is that you?" He had a scared'ish voice and started walking to my general direction. I start demanding in VOIP for him to stand still, and he says "Ronnie? Stop that please, you're scaring me." with his voice looking even more scared. After this, he starts running and I shot him down, since he was running to me, out of fear of him seeing me and killing me. After the rush, I move to a spot where the body is between me and Ronnie's last know position. I stand there for a few minutes watching the body getting eaten away by flies, waiting for his buddy to appear. He never showed up. Still, I stood there a bit more. While I was waiting, I started remembering his voice. "Ronnie, where are you?" This part was constantly in my head, I was imagining his face in horror because a murderer was near him, and I imagined his last breath already on the ground, shedding a tear while asking why the world had been so unfair to him. To allow him to be killed in a random forest, in the middle of nowhere, by a guy he never saw, while his buddy seemingly abandoned him. This thought took over my mind. I started to feel regret. I quickly got up and started running back to my little "camp" a few minutes up north. The regret turned into remorse. "How could I kill a helpless person in the middle of the forest, at night? What have I become?" I logged out, and I broke "character". Since it's just a game, he'll eventually respawn and get the same gear back in a few minutes, but what if it was real life? Maybe this bandit life isn't for me...

Finding Nemo - Looking for someone?

Looking for a player that goes by the name Sm4Cks ingame. Please PM me if you know him/you are him.
  11. OP, you're just attention whore'ing. To the clan, they can't ban you from the server like that, so I give you that. But everything else, you're attention whore'ing 100%. Nobody cares if you are supa l33t h4x0r. If you are hunting a clan just because they checked some logs, that's just stupid. If I were to own a server I would check the logs periodically for hacking and other stuff. It seems they checked the logs to find some proof of your hacking, which seems they found partials at least. So after that, you should've stopped what you were doing (hunting them cause they checked logs) and simply carry the fuck on. Stop milking attention from this.

    !Important Look!

You just went full retard on that. 5 or 10 secs invulnerable is fine, but 5 minutes? Please... lol
  13. This is new info for me. Thanks OP!

Don't you just love "clever" bandits?

You should've continued until someone shot you dead when you least expect it... xD

    DayZ Community....

I've been encountering more people that don't KoS lately. One thing that helps is the Direct Comms VOIP. I don't type anymore, I simply talk. They answer, I go away, they don't answer, I kill them.
