    I give up on military bases.

    BeefBacon in all honesty, I find Kamensk and Tisy to be empty of players and very rewarding most times I pay them a visit.

    I think I can answer that: There has been problems with people flushing every 1 seconds making them able to see through buildings so they closed that loophole. I can not confirm this to be 100% true.

    DayZ Distractions

    You have to count in the official background story of the game. The outbreak happened back in 2009 when UN came Chernorus to aid in helping them combat the infection before it spread to the neighboring countries. By 2014 the infection had put down every government and military organization in the whole world - the only people alive today are naturally immune to the infection. The tanks and helicopters crashed for a reason - the crew was infected. Meaning, the wreckages are at least 6 years old and crashed during the last days of the non-immune soldiers and people.

    A Few Thoughts on.. Bugfixing, Priorities, and Beta

    If it was'nt for those people playing and promoting the game, nobody would probably play or show an interest in bugfixing the DayZ we are all waiting for. Bugs and issues vary with each version, making it a zig-zag run between patches to keep up with information on whatever life-threatening issues and bugs that will kill your character for no reason "at the moment". If you are currently playing the game, you probably also know what issues are fixed and what new issues to be aware of, like they chopped off Medusa's head and another one came out. It has been frustrating for both players and developers but its nice to see we are getting there :)

    [0.61] 34 Updates?

    I "heard" BI got around 80 people working on DayZ SA. I dont know if this is true? But that is not economically rewarding from a business perspective at all - I would understand it better if they only had 10 people working on DayZ SA and 70 people working on a new DayZ from scratch. That would make sense and I would'nt mind waiting and paying for DayZ once more if they made DayZ an AAA title done right the first time. In fact I would like to pay a LOT more, like 100 "Escape from Tarkov" euros because the amount of hours I've spent on DayZ so far is ridiculous and worth every cent. I dont know what they did to the EXP right before making it 0.61 stable, but it was perfect. The 34 following patches feels like making up for this using trial and error although I know they are fixing bugs - and doing a great on that, btw! Right now, there is absolutely no consistency in the battle system. People continue to live on seconds after they should have dropped, resulting in them killing you as well - when you really were the first guy to hit/shoot! This is punishing what MOST people consider having fun and is a disappointing game experience. I urge the devs to adress this issue as soon as they have time available on their hands! And please dont use counter-arguments like DayZ was not meant for PvP - if people were ONLY doing RP and PvE in DayZ it would just be the regular posters, forever carrying the positive torch in here, playing the game. Consequence is essential to ANY game and DayZ is built on executing the consequences of your actions. Killing other players is a huge part of the selling point and every DayZ community outside this forum. Please dont kill me for saying it out loud, peeps. But someone needed to - because I love this game, I think this game, I dream it and I am in the game more hours than I probably should and I want to see it succeed as much as you want to :) EDIT: The colour palette used in this game is the most authentic and realistic looking I have ever seen and DayZ is the only game matching the colours of the world just right - thumbs up!

    Why dont you all jump on him like he was some kind of meal. Telling him he dont belong in a game he paid for scares the average player away from posting his experiences here. And it is not your job to protect the developers from hearing anyone else's truth but your own. Steam Charts

    Status Report - 14 May 15

    "we'll be rolling 0.56 into 0.57 development with the intent of a regularly scheduled end of month release." Just to be clear - does this mean you will skip stable release 0.56 completely and there will be no global server/character wipe until stable 0.57 is released, say... Maybe end May- beginning of June?

  11. Are the devs updating BE or patching the game - or what seems to be wrong here? Only the kind of servers mentioned in the topic is coming up for me. I did try to verify cache and restart my PC with no luck.

    DayZ 1.8 Feedback

    Hi Razor49 & team. I am not playing vanilla anymore, hence not active in the forums - but looking on the feedback on Reddit it seems you made a lot of lone wolf players happy and just wanted to take my time to do this, so I tried the 1.8 patch for the last two days and tbh I never get very far into looting before dying to zeds - did you give their damage a notch up? Anyway, I suck at fighting zeds so feedback is not very detailed. -Graphics is art, it's really a matter of individual taste. To me, it's a bit cartoon'ish but definately not boring anymore. -Although not that intuitive at first look, inventory needed this update, it makes sense to have a melee weapon next to your gun. -like the spawn system and the various new loot spawns you made under tables, beds etc. I think perfomance in fps lowered a bit overall and I hope you find the reason why. -Finally my wish on fishing in DayZ was made real - thx! - I am getting kicked a lot for CreateVehicle and ScriptRestrictions while just running doing nothin'? (hero-skin?) Also, I spawn in on the beach and gets repositioned to my last logout position a while later. Is this server-related or a known bug? All in all I agree with everybody, it's definately the best patch since Dean left working on the mod. I really think you guys did a good job.

    DayZ Mod 1.7.7 Patch

    What's wrong bro, never seen zombies doing karate jumping kicks before? :D Seriously I feel exactly the same as you about this, only you expressed it better. I do not like the way things are going here. In example, Razor confirmed to me how the wall crash detection (or whatever its called) in this game is no problem and quite accurate, yet I dont see zombies hitting through walls on the "fix" list. This patch do have some nice changes and DayZ just got harder, but in a distorted and weird way. It's like we are all gently pushed towards the SA, with bugfixes as the reward? But it only prolongs the process towards PvP. The unevitable question "now what?" will come up after crawling on your belly for 5 hours and gearing up. After watching the E3 footage, my expectations for the SA as a bugfree, hackerfree version of current DayZ crumbled. So, I no longer see the point in critisising this patch to no avail, also I doubt I will like what comes next. However, the majority seems to be happy with the changes. So democracy has spoken. The rest of us now have 2 options - keep playing a buggy 1.7.6.1 till the end of time or quit DayZ altogether. You choose. I am out of here, don't want to become a grumpy old man just because of a game :)

    LOL I had to wait this out as I thought this was a troll thread made by TMW themselves out of pure boredom :D ..Like any TMW medic wearing his clantag would ever kill anyone - LOL! Marijke is probably the toughest and most zero-tolerant clan leader EVER towards her own clan members and the general rules for players on their public servers. After helping bandits, heroes, survivors and medic-killing traps for years, I sure would'nt mind them letting off some steam on their own private server, as they probably need it in order to keep up a reasonable level of sanity hehe.. US2419 and EU2419 are the servers, you should attend for medical help, Tobi. You should know that - everybody knows that.
