Steam, you buy from Steam. You could buy from BI Store but that will only give you a Steam key.

All servers are Official in that case. Set your ping to 300, find a server that is marked US, then hit the Host tab, this will group all similar servers together. -

Game crashes once I press the play button!

Did you guys try deleting the three (3) config files in My Documents/DayZ ? Once done validate your game files if not done automatically. You will need to re-set your game configurations. I know that the PLAY tab was corrupt in the past, I'm not sure if it's fixed because I always use the Change Server tab. If you have added any Servers to your Favourites, go to the Steam Client Server browser (right click Steam icon in Task Bar) and try to join through the (Favourites tab). Other things you might check is that Steam/DayZ are added as exceptions in your Firewall (s). -

5) Illegal Content: Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain or provide software ("warez") or music is forbidden. This includes posting links to DayZ media from cracked/pirated versions of the game/servers or DayZ imported into ArmA 3. -

Modification of DayZ SA files will get you into trouble, do not attempt. Languages are WIP, you will have to wait until release. -

If you whish to call the Moderation Staff, typing a simple post will get you nowhere, you must Report the post or Topic, this will alert the Moderators. The same if a Member is being offensive or posting unacceptable content. We do not delete Topics without good cause. -

Key word is melee bug. There has been a lot of discussion over the last month or so but if you are not browsing the Forums on a regular basis or playing on previous Experimental builds and/or following the Exp discussions you would not know about it. Your concerns and Topic are both valid. -

Don't expect a miracle but you should be able to play the game on low settings.

You will have to be more precise and select the different elements. Also, use default text please, black on black does not work well any more than white on white.
