Topics merged. It is my understanding that BE distribution method has changed and now comes with the DayZ Steam distribution package, hence the new acceptance agreement. I have discussed this pre-patch BE failure and connection problem (one member contacted me with the same problem). At that time manually replacing BE files was not a working option. I am at present trying to get some more recent information concerning this problem (rare).

No. You might try to OC the CPU if you have a cooler to suite, 4.2 / 4.4 should be possible. A good SSD will also help (believe me).

Well a year ago there weren't that many of us playing, I don't remember you being amongst us.

Terrible isn't it, I don't understand why people would run their games so. Maybe they don't know the difference, loads of the vids posted here are running at the wrong settings.
