The maintence will be a little longer than usual... 1 hr ago = "New patch under testing (fixes for two server crashes and map changes), maitenance will get extended. Please be patient."

DayZ SA will have a weekly maintenance period. Every Wednesday, at 06.00 GMT servers will go down for 3 hours. Duration may vary...+ or -

Calm your joy, looks like a hotfix test. I'm considering locking down the Exp Forum. Most of the Topics that pop up from members are not necessary and 99.9% of the time the questions or subject should have been asked in the Official Exp build Topic.

getting kicked from servers for no reason

Report the Server please... If you encounter an abusive admin or server, please do not post it here on the forums. We cannot do anything with these reports. It is not productive and does not expedite action taken against these servers. Please report them to the GSPs directly following the pinned Guidelines. -

Thank you. Although your specs are not the best in the world it is strange that you are suffering from these troubles with 0.49 when many people are reporting some overall fps improvements. I will ask one question, did you remove all related files when you uninstalled DayZ, including those in My Docs/DayZ and Steam/SteamApps/Common ? This is a very important step when doing a fresh install of the game.

I agree to a certain extent and unless there is a saved video of the whole stream there is no way of checking back (hence the iirc). There is a highlight version of the stream available but to be quite honest I've no idea if the discussion on map expansion is included. A bit of wagging in form of promotion for the Dev Streams, lol. OK,,, inland mass has reached limits. Possibility of Islands was discussed but no certainties evoked. Utes was removed because deemed not fitting the scenario. iirc...

Check your history and try to join a previous Stable server. If this does not work try entering a server ip using the Remote tab. This should give you a bad version mis-match error message, if you have a bad version. Then try and validate your files. You can find servers and their ip's by browsing through this Forum : servers
