So many questions, too many answers. Let people ask their questions, things change and so will the Q/A. Note : People have trouble using the Search Function for different reasons. What you should do is try to answer and/or link to a Topic. You can also Report to the the Moderators to an already existing Topic.- 1 reply

I want you to start using the Search Function and use the Forums in a more effective fashion, this is not the first time your posting habits have been remarked upon. This should have been posted in the Troubleshooting Forum, IN the BE error Topic, that you are aware of. Making multiple Topics about an existing subject does not enhance the discourse but simply disperses an important question (in this case). Think before you post.

The case that I referred to previously, I am convinced was a bad internet/high ping problem (shared wi-fi). Turning off AV & FW did not solve the problem. Switching between Stable & Exp and back again did not work. Everything else recommended, running all as admin for example was verified. Tried again a few days later when wi-fi traffic was low and it worked, I'm not saying this is the reason behind so many reports but it may be worth checking your connection.

Failed to launch game. The instruction at 0x00c30224 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written.

Tell us more, what are you specs, which version of Windows do you use, does this only happen when you launch DayZ and are other games running without this same error. Details, nobody can help you, including support if you don't give the basic information to start with. -
You will be disappointed and frustrated also note that Windows XP is not supported. On the other hand once the game is in your library you have it for life, so the day you invest in a new computer...

Topics merged. It is my understanding that BE distribution method has changed and now comes with the DayZ Steam distribution package, hence the new acceptance agreement. I have discussed this pre-patch BE failure and connection problem (one member contacted me with the same problem). At that time manually replacing BE files was not a working option. I am at present trying to get some more recent information concerning this problem (rare).
