We are not going to have this argument again (debate is not the word). Camera position is work in progress (WIP) and the experimental build is just that (0.58 in this case). If you don't like it, do as I do and play 1st person only, where all men (& ladies) are equal.

Reading your previous post I'm afraid you will have great difficulty running the game and would not recommend that you buy the game at this time. Wait until you can upgrade or purchase a new computer. Good luck.

Thirst & hunger when in soaked/cold/freezing/hypothermia state is giving nightmares and eating all my beanZ. I'm not sure if something is wrong or if we are being experimented on :huh: Thirst seemed excessive from the beginning but as soon I was soaked / cold everything went to the dogs. Tried making a fire in a house chimney with little to no success, lighting a fire outside didn't help either (raining). I have the notion that there may be a clash somewhere with the different condition statuses. Try it and see, (at your own risk) weather permitting !

Make sure Steam / Service / DayZ are not being blocked by Firewall (make exception). Often due to poor connection situation, both server and client / packet loss. Lamp on head is much more efficient than torch in hand, allows for hand held weapon at the same time (in contrast to the torch) not forgetting free look possibilities. Still have to go through the "menu" to turn on.

It is cumbersome the need to go through the inventory to turn on head torch/lamp or pistol flashlight on/off. Legacy resolves to L = lights on, which is reserved to vehicle class. It is my belief that there will be a more player friendly option to the above question.
