"That will make the NEW profile have the same settings as the default." Not so, my default user has never been used. The first new profile is plotted for ArmA2/CO. The second is a modified version of the first "new profile" (TrackIR Helicopter Pilot). The third is a modified version of the second profile, which is addapted to CQC and used in DayZ, with a modified TrackIR profile. Careful with that axe Eugene. Thanks anyway...

[How To] ArmA 2: CO + Steam Tracking and Overlay with Beta Patch

There are many 1.7.0 servers not requiring a beta. I advise you instal the latest beta build, the game (Amar2 CO) is being constantly updated and iimproved. This will not stop you from joining 1.7.0 non beta servers. -
Delete previous beta before installing a different version. BE has been validated for beta 93666. BE is vs155 on my machine There are at most 10 servers running the latest build at this time. I have just played on EN1 server, just to make sure that things are working. Biggest stars I've ever seen ...

BE should be showing Vs 155. It updated for me today. I've just played on a server running ArmA2/CO beta 93666. There are only about 10 servers running 666 at the moment.

Problems with starting the game

I sometimes get these sort of messages, did you click on "continue" the game will ignore the error and continue loading. Might help, might not. -

Threads merged... If you use the SEARCH function the thread will be updated and automaticlly "bumped". Making more Threads will push back the original and it will disapear within a couple of hours. I advise using the latest DayZ build and the latest ArmA2 CO beta. Carefully choose your server, no point trying to join a 50 slot server when there are already 48 players. Most responsible server admins are restarting every 4 hours or so . This I have found is good practice and helps a lot. Keep your BeanZ cool.

I do not fully understand your problem, you have lost your game or your gear ? If he stole your game through Steam, it is a Steam problem. This is the DayZmod forum, not ArmA2/or Steam. Good luck....

Quite a few people are having this problem, I'm not sure why. Some have said that the Steam overlay effects the gear interface. If you are using Arma2 free, some say delete the (A2 free) IU files, they conflict with retail CO/DayZ. Make sure you have the correct DayZ files. Check your video settings... Screen & 3D resolution with the same aspect ratio. Make sure the square within a circle icon is round and not oval. If you fix the problem, let me know. Thanks.
