Right click on game icon in Steam window/properties/local/verify integrity of game cache. I doubt that that will fix the problem. Scroll wheel to zoom in & out, RMB to hold & drag, double click LMB to set markers/waypoints. Also set screen resolution to native monitor size and 3D resolution to same in game graphics options.

DayZ is a modification of ArmA 2. I suggest you ask over at the BIS Forums to see if your idea would be possible using the BIS Tools pack. If they ignore your request do not hesitate to make a second demand. Locked.

Considered a hack. You can reduce vegetation in the game options for better performance. You will have to re-install the game.

I've started giving WARNINGS to people who create Topics when there is no need. There is a SEARCH function / tool,,, use it. The Forums are under a heavy charge, starting / adding a Topic when there is already more than one on the same subject and often on the same page, is not helping in anyway whatsoever. You are lucky that Fraggle got here before me. I'll be nice, 2 day PPS.

There is no quick fix to fit all at this time. Sometimes I get the glitches and other times not. However the latest beta build has some changes that may help. I will take a look later today. Not much help to your particular problem but lets hope the solution will be found soon. I don't know who re-directed you here but this belongs in the Troubleshooting Forum. Moved. -
