2.8 ghz, even if recommended is not a beast of a processor. Keep in mind that there has not been any real optimisation to date. This will occur when content and functions are locked down, most likely sometime after beta release, if my memory serves me well.

The posting of exploits, duping and other in-game glitches that can be abused whether by text or video, is strictly forbidden.

Get the vanilla mod working before downloading anything else. There are many variations of the original DayZ mod, this is surly why you are getting these error messages.

What version N° do you have showing on the Welcome page ? If you have tried opting into beta builds,,,opt out. Try setting download priorities (look downloads, always keep this game updated).

Right click on DayZ icon in the Steam game list library / properties / local files / validate game cache.

Put this in the Search bar (Titles only). Search Results Your search for the term sli crossfire returned 24 results. This will give you an idea of the situation I believe.
