Some people are hitting the REPORT button when they wish to Reply. (Report & Reply are confusing some people, we have a half dozen false positives every day). Thanks. -
Map Chit Chat (with current Maps) updated if needed. TroubleShooting (installation & Guides) The rest is good already. Any more than that and you are not Streamlining but creating a mish-mash of wrong posting potential.

Use the server ip address. If your friend has the correct version / beta it will work. Use the Remote tab in the in-game browser to enter the ip.

If Dayz PBO's (or any other) have been added to the main ArmA 2 addons folder, the base game is corrupt. All modifications should use the recommended @modename + addons folder method. First thing to do is validate the integrity of your Game Cache with the Steam tool provided. Where are you and which language are you using in-game ? I'm not sure about the Steam addition but some localized editions are hard set. German is german/Russian is russian and the only way to turn the game into English is to use a mod/PBO which will be rejected by servers. Never heard of the problem myself so, good luck with that...
