Think : 4 / 8 / 16 / 32 (so on and so forth) read / write sequence (dual channel). 12 is more read than write. Also, system will take lowest ram module speed and decrease to... Might help, might not... -

The Stickies are there, all you have to do is read them, which may lead to the solution to your problem. Also we have a Search tool which may lead to the same solution. Are you suggesting something ? If so then this has been done many times before, from ruined roads, overgrown buildings to the completely unnecessary poop smears. -
Abandoned camps are plenty, also many houses now have fireplaces, crafting allows to build fires and cook. Caves are also here and there, bunkers have been removed iirc.

Merged. There is no need for a new Topic every time a question pops into your head. As stated above macs can run any game if you have the right configuration, which you would know if you had used the Search Function correctly.

The CPU is the most important element here, you have 3.1,,, 2.8 is recommended (minimum imho). GPU is fine. Ram is minimum, but that depends on which OS you run. I'll hazard a guess that you will have an average 20 fps with medium to low settings (towns and cities are the most exigent) If you have the intention to upgrade in the future the game will always be in your Steam library, also keep in mind that any real optimisation has yet to commence. Up to you to decide.

You should be able t run the game, not the best config but many are running on lesser builds. Windows XP is no longer supported.

I received my free upgrade offer over a month ago. After accepting I now have an icon in the task bar with different links and info. In the FAQ they claim that the intention is to send this offer to every eligible client. Offer is for one year after release (29th July) if you have accepted the upgrade offer.
