I've gone back to playing on offical builds. So, as far as I'm concerned,,,,yes modified Privat Hives (in general) are making the game-play to easy and take away from the survival element of the game. In fact the two, cannot be compared. if you want more vehicles and all, go play Wasteland. EDIT: Namalsk is aiming at the hard core survival aspect, so is something else altogether.

We all learn from our errors. Contact BIS with proof of purchase and other required info and see what they say ! This is not DayZ Mod related.

rocket said.. take for example the zombies in the mod. They have five "sections" each (for each section, the GPU must do a new render pass) and over 8000 triangles when including the head. In the standalone, zombies have 5000 triangles and one section. This makes a big difference. Now, put the @dayz folder in the main ArmA 2 folder. Open the game Arma 2/CO using the exe. tab found in the main ArmA 2 folder. Go to expansions and select dayz adding to the list. Restart (game will tell you). Some will say install DayZ Commander or "six". lol, yep...I was using reverse technology :D . AKM is over powered for a kneecap job as is a winniechester. 5.45x39mm or 5.56x45mm ammo is what you need depending on your choice of weapon. Oh, and then I finish em off with a pistol shot in teh head.
