You character position will be saved if you play on a Public Official Hive Server, you can switch servers (Public) and continue you progress. However if you play on a Private Hive Server you will need to connect to that very same to continue. Some server hosts do have shared Hive (private), which will allow you to change servers, as long as you stay with the same host. I do not like this last option, it is unclear and apt to error's (in my own experience). Might help, might not.

Game does not lag because of W7. Constant 60 fps,,,, highly unlikely. Make sure yoy have selected the Nvidia option when running the game (I've seen this before, so check it). That would depend on the country where the game takes place, in this case Tcheque Republic / Chernarus. Bottled water is a lot more common in France for example than in England. Coke tins / Whisky bottles and plastic water bottles have infested the world and will be here long after man has dissapeared ! Just trek up to Everest or Annapurna and see for yourself. Just nit-picking a little myself but yes, plastic water bottles should be in, and it might help with the copyright question.

The only thing that I can think of is that when you change certain settings in ArmAII it takes tasks from the CPU and places them on the GPU and vis versa. The fact that you have unlocked the cpu could be the reason why the game crashes. Might help, might not.

The problem is not related to DayZ updates or beta's. For such a drop in fps the problem is most certainly other hardware or software conflicts Don't take any notice of the derp above, he thinks he's being clever because he speaks two languages, I deem it as spam, of no worth and adds nothing to the Topic.
